Here we go again...

He's now trying to bring about the end of Hull City, he has been for 2 years, he's lied and cheated constantly throughout that time and you and your dad are defending it. You're Assem Allam fans, not City fans.

No he's not, he's trying to give this City the best quality of football he can. Seen as though when we were **** hardly anyone in Hull was interested and generations pissed off to support Man United and Liverpool.

By making the club an established Premier League club he is going to try and stop that happening with more generations in Hull.

The court, as you call the panel, declared the decision void not the application. The court said a new application was required to change the name (paragraph 95). A new application means it will be the second application. Something Assem Allam said wouldn't happen when the words "no further applications" came out of his mouth.

What was the result of of last years application to change the name of Hull City?? (this is like pulling teeth)

The fcuk off and do something else. I know, go and support Hull United.

Strov, you've probably got yourself a COTM nomination for your contribution to this thread alone.

You've been proven wrong, you've lied, you've been proven wrong again, you resort to name calling & insults.

You're Assem Allam & I claim my 5er.

Hull City confirm name change proposal to the FA

HULL City have written to the Football Association to confirm they will again bid to change the club’s name to Hull Tigers ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

Any club wishing to alter its playing name in time for next season had to lodge an application by today and City have this morning sent a letter declaring their intentions to the FA’s headquarters at Wembley.

The latest development comes as no surprise after City challenged the FA Council’s original decision to reject an application to become Hull Tigers last April.

An arbitration tribunal eventually ruled that verdict could no longer stand due to a perceived bias in the original process, leaving the door open for City to resurrect their controversial plans for the 2015-16 campaign.

It remains unclear if City will table their original application or submit fresh paperwork, but the decision will again hinge on the vote of the FA Council after consideration from the FA’s Membership Committee. The FA Council rejected a change to Hull Tigers by 47 to 27 votes last April.

It was denied, it was later set aside on a technicality, not to be reconsidered. Although the panel suggested that the club were free to submit a new application.

Of course our owner won't be doing that as he stated publicly that he will only submit one application & has also stated, more than once, that he never goes back on his word.

It was set aside and now ceases to exist. As a result he needs to submit a new, second, further application to change the name. All very simple and in laid out in paragraph 95 of the judgment.

The man said "no further applications" and has now made one.
