Help Needed

Start Computer
Press F8 key until you get options screen
Select "safe mode with networking"

You should then be able to download Malwarebytes and run a scan.

In the past I've seen stuff that neither Malwarebytes nor any other virus/malware tool could sort as fixes had not yet been developed so you could always wait a day or two before doing this. I can manually remove all malware for a modest fee.

What browser you using?

You could always uninstall it completely and clear temp files.

Install Superantispyware and run it, will fix it.

You should also download Microsoft Security Essentials, it's free on the Microsoft website.

Stop downloading dodgy software in future to avoid this happening again.

Only raging *****s pay for antiviruses.

I could RDC onto your puter using Teamviewer for cheaper than stopme will do it <ok>

Download and run this, better than the **** others have suggested.

ComboFix is a program, created by sUBs, that scans your computer for known malware, and when found, attempts to clean these infections automatically. In addition to being able to remove a large amount of the most common and current malware, ComboFix also displays a report that can be used by trained helpers to remove malware that is not automatically removed by the program.

Please note that running this program without supervision can cause your computer to not operate correctly. Therefore only run this program at the request of an experienced helper.

This program does not work on Windows 8.1 at this time!

Did you create it?

Did you try switching it off then on again?

Then hit it with a 10lb mallet. Knock those nasty viruses right out of it. Followed by a rinse in clean soapy water.

Or, don't be such a dick and gain yourself an understanding about how you use your computer.

A really hot curry is good for viruses <ok>

Lets all get together for one.

The Little Curry House ( near Cowcaddens ) ?

It's 'The Wee Curry Shop'.

Dev, your suggestion worked about 95%, had to manually uninstall a few wee rogue programs that slipped under the net.

Many thanks

Could you not just take it to the village witch doctor and he could cover it in goat's blood, or whatever you people do?

Been infected with malware and getting all sorts of ads and pop ups and my internet has slowed down generally.

Tried uninstalling loads of these unwanted programs but loads keep appearing.

Happened to me a couple of years ago bounty bar.

I put the laptop in a cupboard, went and bought a new one. Turned it on a couple of weeks ago and weirdly it was working fine. All the viruses had disappeared.
