I think the hatred of the council started it, that sign up on the KCOM stadium "Hull City Council" really gets up their noses.
'Hull' makes my skin crawl when people from the City use it to refer to the football club, but on a national level it's been so common for so long that I don't even notice it personally.
How long until we hear what Enob's latest stunt is? Twitter seems to think there is something ****ty coming.
I've been doing nothing but trawling Twitter and not606 for about 2 hours waiting for news....any ideas on a timeline for the news becoming public
Sports writers refer to football clubs when they are the only one from a town or city by the name of the town or city they are from, Newcastle, Ipswich, Blackburn, Leeds, Norwich, Hull... Most of them will be unaware there is not one, but two "world famous" rugby clubs in Hull, one called 'Ull and that it bothers some people in Hull. Leicester City are referred to as Leicester and no one there gets upset despite the fact they have the country's best supported rugby team there as well.
Due to dangerous weapons getting into the stadium on a match day, the gate will now be closed 24/7 in the name of security?
