NEWS: Hull City Action For Change - The Who, What, Where and When
Saturday is a huge day for Hull City AFC both on and off the pitch. Not only does Slutsky and the boys need a victory against Birmingham City, Hull City Action For Change are calling on fans to come down to the William Gemmell pub on Anlaby Road from 12.30pm ahead of the match, to explain who they are, what they stand for and how you can help.

Action For Change

Essentially the group formed with 6 key objectives listed below:

1 - Unite the Hull City fan base
2 - New owners willing to work with fans
3 - A fresh start and a return of the feelgood factor
4 - Proper fan consultation
5 - Return of concessions
6 - Use of our correct name Hull City AFC

If one, some, or all of these concerns affect you, now you can meet like-minded fans who have arranged a meeting this Saturday ahead of the crucial home match with Birmingham City. A meeting has been called at the William Gemmell pub on Anlaby Road for 12.30pm to formally launch the group and ALL supporters are invited to attend.

Enough is Enough.

Included in the free for all to attend event, Hull City Action For Change have arranged the following:

- Music from Hull City fan Vinny Whitehead
- A guest speaker from Supporters Direct
- KCOM groundsmen update
- Unveiling of the giant flag
- Prize draw
- £1 'Allam Out' wristbands

The event kicks off at 12.30pm and all attendees will receive a FREE pin badge (see image above) and a FREE Allam Out balloon to take to the match. So, once again, if you feel enough is enough and want to unite with fellow fans to become a force for good and change the demoralising mood at Hull City AFC, come along and meet like-minded fans just like you.

sad to say but AFC probably stands for Apathy ForthComing - there seems no fight, no passion and no interest in most fans who go to the KCom

Ah but chazza that's cos the real fans don't go to the kcom anymore. Don't you worry there's loads off here who refuse to go anymore but will be right up for this protest.
Cos this is actually doing something and these lads will be up for this, I mean anyone can just write I'll go when the Allams leave us on a Computer can't they. But this, this is positive action and that gets results.
Just you wait.

I was one who bought the alternative scarf and wristband last time around and I totally agree with the changes this group are asking for but hand on heart I can't see any amount of protest making the slightest bit of difference to the Allams. As much as I want them out I think even the Allam chants out at the match create a negative atmosphere. Football should be purely and simply about going to support your team we should not have to deal with all of this ****. It is a right predicament and I don't mean to criticise the organisers of the protest. I know the frustration of just sitting back and doing nothing or just trying make some kind of protest and it is a horrible situation to be in. I suppose I am torn. Want to protest but at the same time don't feel right about it.

Real fans don't really like 'football' anymore.

What we have today isn't football. It's namby pamby theatrical bollocks remodelled to appeal to the experts and 'bantz' type audiences. The Allams are just the dog **** flavoured icing on top.

Real fans don't go anymore because there's nothing to go to.

Exactly. They watch Jeff and the boys all afternoon at home while posting on here. Or go the pub and watch Jeff and the boys while posting on here. That's real fans for you.

I ****ing hate those people. I really do. Soccer AM watching ****tards who use words like 'tekkers' and play FIFA at pre drinks. And have pre drinks. Who the **** needs pre drinks? Just go straight into drinking you cock. The ****s them.

Inflated.

If not they're really cheaping out. Air in balloons should be like the air you breathe - free.

For a membership of £39 a month, you can have the balloon. (No concessions available).

Good point , pre drinks in my day was getting the earlier bus into town to get to pub earlier

Too much of the good old days rubbish in here.going to city is still a good day out and yes although I do see Jules Karen's view on the protests we are lucky to have some good people organising the protests and they deserve our support.at the end of the day it's no good saying football is ****e.cos the alternative is too often bloody shopping which is really ****e.we look like we are stuck with the Allams but we must not let them get to us.if you are going to the match, enjoy the company you have, support hull city.sing Allams out then forget about them

This is my third season of own protest of not attending and sadly I am at the stage where I have woken up to reality that football success it bought, I no longer look for our results and don't miss it. If the passion and fight from supporters would have remained things may have been different however this had been eroded. The Evil Allam's will not go until the cash cow is empty, they have us by the bollocks no matter what protests is delivered as with this loan it will not go away unless they sell and the new owner pays off the loan , they continue to murder the club bleeding it dry, simply keeping it afloat with pathetic investment into the team, with absolutely no interest in success. They cannot lose.
I applaud all efforts of protests but in my opinion they need to be far more legally aggressive, with media coverage that undermines the Allam regimes and business as the lying evil dictators they are. Good Luck to everyone who supports the effort!!!!

All these Hull City protest groups reminds me of this!

By the way, I’m not saying they’re all pointless!

There's only one.

Like juleskaren, I can't see it having much of an effect beyond giving people an outlet. Maybe that's the aim. It won't do any harm either though. People are far too precious about hearing protest-themed chants at games. I support what they're doing but don't envy them. It's a thankless task for the reasons already posted.

The zero contract types loathed by some on here certainly knew how to shut King George dock.

You cannot beat a proper pair of balls..

Fair play to those campaigning, and I wish them success, but it seemed a bit of a damp squib?
I accidentally arrived in time for kick it from today, which was odd but at least I now know how games start!, and there didn't seem many balloons about. The ones that were there looked good, although as a protest from a distance it just looks like a club celebration to me

Anyway good luck to them
