I've just seen that we think Gibson is too much at £25m so it's about what we think is worth it and we obviously don't think Keane or Gibson are worth more than Maguire and they're not, end of!
Who gives a flying fook if you're a season ticket holder? If you don't go to away games you ain't gettin a ticket! Tell you what next season I'll prove the fooker every week when away tickets are sold out and then you'll see you absolute facking morons! Fact is Everton was on telly, we had a CL game coming up and nobody facking cared about the result because we all hoped we'd rest as many players as possible and that's a fact!
Here's something I found; Last Chance For Swansea Tickets - Leicester City mobile.lcfc.com › news › article › 14101... The Club have sold out every ticket on the road this season and there have been very few non-members that have ... When I tried to open it the page had been removed I guess because it's old and irrelevant now but there you go, from the official site saying we've sold every away ticket. So laugh on that you facking mongs ha ha
So at Goodison, half the fans that got tickets never went? Even after you said they were sold in so others could go? Give your chin a wipe
You seem to think Keane is the messiah or something and he's not hence why no big teams wanted him, he's not good enough. I've seen him play 22 times and he's still got the same flaws now as he had back then and they're all there to see if you watch our goals against Burnley last season. First one, poor positioning, marking nobody and shirking responsibility because if he's that good then he marks Slimani but he passed him on rather than taking control. Keane should have been thriving playing against Slimani if he was good enough but he wasn't and he didn't even try to get close to him for his goals. Poor defending from a £25m player and that's why he's not worth it! Second one, again ball watching, saw Slimani coming into the box and left him all on his own while he watched the runner and did nothing other than get frustrated when Slimani scored a free header. Again you've got Slimani in the box whose just scored one with his head so any centre half worth their salt would pick him up but nope, just let him go and watched him score. He often gave the ball away too because his passing was crap and it still is given that he has the lowest pass completion percentage.
Ever thought Slimani wasn't supposed to be Keane's man and he was getting frustrated because someone else was letting him run?
Like I said before people don't care about Everton, you're a nothing club with a crap ground and got us we knew we were resting half our team and we rested five knowing we had a more important game coming up. These guys had already recently been to Seville and Madrid and probably just didn't fancy a Sunday trip to Liverpool for a game that meant nothing. When I played centre half I always picked the best player to mark and if someone else was marking him and let him score then I'd take responsibility, as any decent centre half should. So no I don't buy that as an excuse and Slimani was on his own in the middle while Keane marked nobody so even if he was someone else's man he wasn't doing anything.
No it wasn't, we had plenty and Palace away too around the same time and that sold out but it wasn't on telly on a Sunday which also makes a huge difference. Crystal Palace Away - NOW SOLD OUT - Ticket News and Travel ... https://www.foxestalk.co.uk › topic › 96... Mar 10, 2014 - Crystal Palace Away - NOW SOLD OUT ... mobile.cpfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-now-on-sale-1836551.aspx .... TBA - Subject to Availability Silver & City Members. If I could be bothered I could continue to prove I'm right and that Everton was a one off but I've already shown you two which prove we've sold every ticket on the road and Palace away around CL games because it wasn't on telly on a Sunday.
So basically you did what you wanted and ignored the managers game plan and didn't mark your own man?
How many tickets did other teams give you compared to Everton? Perhaps Everton overestimated your following and gave you too many tickets.
How could a defender who cost Burnley a few million ever be able to manage against a £29m player like Slimani?
No I'd pass him on, it's about talking to teammates and game management and it happens regularly at every level of football and if you don't understand that then I'd query whether you actually play football or not. Fact also is they weren't man marking, Mee was playing left and Keane was playing right and Slimani as a central striker was both left and right all game. The first was from a free kick which before the game he should have been putting his hand up to take Slimani because that's what I would have done, I thrived on marking their best player and that's what Keane should have wanted to do but nope, didn't fancy it so left him to Mee. I always backed my ability so I always took responsibility, Keane simply didn't.
You have proven nothing. You lord it up saying every away ticket is sold and filled earlier. That a nice black market exists to ensure people who can't make it still get the credit. Yet with away tickets in such high demand the many desperate to go away.....didn't. What support you have. In Bobbys final season we were terrible, yet still had 100% attendance at all away fixtures.
So you would have been running all over the pitch to try and prove how good you were against their best player, meanwhile your own players would be getting pulled all over the place trying to cover you. I will take the professional players way on this every time.
We get the same percentage allocation everywhere so no you didn't, we sold out against all the big teams who gave us more tickets because they have bigger stadiums. Palace was 2,689 I just saw that so around 10% or so.
