Oh my head is perfectly level and I know exactly what I'm talking about, you're the ones who are struggling with basics not me. You're all big club arrogant even though you've won fook all for decades. You're not a top club and Keane is not a top player and that's why the top clubs don't want him. He's not as good as you think he is and as I've pointed out numerous times as well, MAGUIRE BEAT KEANE IN ALMOST EVERY AREA AND HIS AVERAGE RATING WHILE STARTING WAS HIGHER THAN KEANE AND ONLY A ****** WOULD TAKE INTO ACCOUNT SUB APPEARANCES WHERE ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET MORE THAN A 6 or 7. Just thought I'd capitalise that for you because it's just not sinking in!
Keane isn't a player they were interested in, apart from making a larger bid than they have for Maguire. Think this guy got in touch and told him about his leadership/marking skills and made them see sense and not just offer the £2m that was clearly what they needed to convince Burnley to sell.
When we bid for Keane £15m was considered a lot, too much in fact by most people and we were told that £18m is what it needed an we weren't prepared to pay that much because he's not worth it and he still isn't if we can get Maguire, who outperformed Keane for less than £15m. You're getting mugged off simple as that because you're spending double on a player who had worse stats. Every year fees get higher or have you failed to notice that too along with your lack of silverware?
You are going off again on a tangent. You have failed to explain why the massive demand for away games, that outstrips supply means you took half an allocation to Goodison Park? Maguire hasn't beaten Keane in the stats that are important. That's why shill went down and Maguire stayed up.
Where is the quote on £18m being the figure required. Because they told Leicester in the summer he wasn't for sale (actual articles) and in January they told Everton the same. Let's not forget articles with Keane saying he didn't regret them not selling. If he was wanting to go, a price would have been agreed I'm sure. But why after working so hard to get out of the championship, would he want to go back to a team that plays most of its games outside of the top league Are you just chasing this game?
I've explained it numerous times, are you really that thick? I've also shown you proof that we've sold out every away ticket, this is one game that you simply need to get your tiny little mind around the fact that it was Everton, on a Sunday at 4:30pm, on telly, half a team and a more important CL game coming up. I mean not everyone has unlimited funds either so given a choice of Atletico at home in the CL quarter final or Everton away in a nothing league game, or even a league game away that's not on telly, which one are you going to?
People desperate for away game tickets, not every single fan who went to Athletico also went to the other CL games or away games. It appears the talk of selling out is cheap. But then again times can't be hard, these fans got tickets to a game they were never attending! Cash to splash!! And fans desperate for away game tickets, as long as it's not on the telly and against Real Madrid
Will be great, it's a nothing game for them so not many will turn up. Those hardcore fans who cry out for away tickets will be happy to watch on the TV. I think many didn't go last season in case they were raked through the game by this bloke(if he could be arsed as like many Leicester he seems fair weather)
Ok here you go, we were going to offer £15m with add-ons making it £18m but they wanted at least £20m so £18m with add-ons making it £21m. He was for sale we just didn't want to bid the extra £3m, as I said. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/www...ffer-worth-15million-rejected-by-burnley/amp/ Also of course he's going to say he wasn't disappointed not to move because it would send the wrong message to the Burnley fans. Fact is if we had offered them £18m with add-ons he wouldn't have hesitated to join the current PL champions, play in the CL and more than double his wage and you're deluded if you think otherwise.
Quite true, so a player that was valued at £18m last year could easily be valued at £25m this year. If you are getting a player for less than (your words) £15m this year he is basically worth £10m or less. You are buying a Championship player at best
Again, Everton away on a Sunday when it's on the telly is a game people can't be arsed to go to. If we play you on a Saturday next season you'll see we sell out.
We valued him at £15m last year and not a lot more now hence why we haven't bothered trying to sign him. Maguire is the better, cheaper option and and at £12m he's about the right price without any stupid inflation. Leicester also have a habit of picking up bargains and not wasting money.
They didn't take the top tier which is offered to every visiting club, so we sold that out with Blues. So they had the minimum which is the lower Bullens away section and it was nowhere near full. But of course they were all busy washing their hair or packing suitcases, or something
