I support Leicester and have seen Keane a lot more than you've seen Maguire and I could say exactly the same about a player I watched years ago. He was a liability with the ball, crap passing which hasn't improved judging by his poor pass completion, he switched off and passed responsibility, which he still does judging by the goals Slimani scored. So everything that made him a weak player back then doesn't seem to have been sorted yet.

You live in the past but then I guess that's where Everton are as a football club.

I'll come back next season and we'll see how they're both doing but I'm confident enough to know that you'll be wrong about Maguire and I think Keane will get found out a lot more playing for a more expansive team who rely on defenders to be able to pass the ball.

As for Stuart Pearce, only his opinion which isn't matched by any of the top clubs because they don't see him at that level because he isn't, simple as that. He's not a top class defender, he's decent and he's young but that's as far as it goes so Pearce is talking crap as usual.

You're a bell end mate <ok>

Your poxy provincial club couldn't even fill the lower tier at Goodison last season, the defending Champions not even selling out half of the allocation.

You set of plastic clapper phoneys. I bet you were never even went back in 2012, Johnny come lately biff.

So he claims to have watched him more times than I have Maguire? The 22 games he managed (according to Wiki) you must have attended them all?

Maguire made 134 for Sheffield United. Now allowing for everton and Sheffield United games to be on the same day/weekend (both at home) I would suggest that he is talking nads

It's funny, Leicester made a big push to sign Keane last summer

He'll claim they shifted their attentions to the better player in medicine ball head, when the reality is that we also tried for him in Jan and he made it know he fancied it come the summer, after Burnley told us they wouldn't consider selling him in Jan as they needed to secure their PL status.

Yeah we didn't think he was worth spending the extra money on so we didn't bother, if we'd offered £18m we would have got him but we didn't. I think that's a mistake personally and I think we should have spent the extra £3m but now I'm happy with Maguire for £12m. I've seen Keane loads of times and his flaws are still there, as I highlighted yesterday.

Your stadium is crap and the view is bollocks plus it was on telly and you're crap so not the most enticing of games for supporters to go to but if we didn't fill it then it would be the only time all season.

Our poxy little club has won more in the last two decades than you've managed and got further in Europe.

I started going down in 1979/80 when McLintock was still manager and I've been to around 950 games since so shut up dickhead!

They told you he want for sale and he said he wasn't upset about the move not happening

Working on say 20 home league games a season.

20*37=....740. So that leaves 210 games missing(roughly)

Let's be generous and give three home cup games each season....as an average.

3*37=......111 games. Still 100 short with simple stats.

Someone is talking nads again.

That's because you're clearly not accounting for away games either and up until about 13 I'd go to about half and then after that some seasons I went to every game and others missed four or five. My old man always went and took me with him so nobody is talking nads at all. I also had seven trips to Wembley, Madrid, Vienna, loads of ZDS and all the poxy little cup games that lower league teams play. I've easily been to 950 so no nobody is talking nads at all.

He wasn't for sale but if we'd offered them £18m they would have accepted. Maybe he wasn't upset about the move then, just like Mahrez wasn't last season. He was willing to give Burnley another season but if we'd bid enough for him he would have joined without hesitation, as he would now. If we offered them more than you and offered him more in wages he'd come and that's a reality.

Oh so it just needs £2m more<laugh>

Yah, those poxy lower league sides do play some silly cup games. If you could stump up he extra £2m then it would have secured you a player who wasn't for sale and wasn't interested in moving. Still, for the same price you got maguire who you have watched loads of<laugh>

Burnley aren't exactly loaded and if we had offered enough they would have sold him because they wouldn't be able to afford to turn it down.

All reports were that they wanted £18m not that he wasn't for sale and everyone at the time thought it was too much, including the club and that's why we didn't bother.

Unless you replace Lukaku adequately, which I'm pretty sure you won't, I think you'll be doing well to finish top 10.

So they would accept £18m last summer....he wasn't for sale by the way

Of course it was the only time you didn't sell out your away allocation all season <laugh> Like you'd ****ing know.

Prove it.

He has been 950 games at least, take it easy in him. He can spot Maguire is a better player, even if his average rating was below that of Keane.

That Everton play expansive football.....not the direct style like Leicester(we play almost as many long balls as they do)

That we won't replace the goals from Rom and Ross, even after selling them without telling the fans.
