The passing backwards thing would make sense if he wasn't probably our most direct and attacking player for most of the game. And for the rest of the game passing backwards and keeping possession is exactly what we needed... Hard to criticise him for that, surely?
To be fair, i listened on the radio as all the streams were cack. Jut generally going on what he usually does, holds the ball up and passes backwards, AKA, what he's meant to do.
I only slate when its waranted, which i think the shot was! Never said i was criticising, just saying 81% could be artificially high, id rather it was 20% but of the 20 passes he attempted 4 goals were scored.
Basically, pass percentage doesnt mean too much, as there is a case of teams passing sidewards for 30 minutes and acheiving nothing, something which we have been guilty of this season. Gives nice stats, but pretty poor results!
