I'm happy that VAR isn't being used constantly like it was in the FA Cup games. Particularly when it's subjective calls where there isn't a universal "correct" decision. I don't agree with the refs interpretation on a lot of the decisions so far but at least it's still a fluent game of football where everyone knows that's going on and we're not having goals overturned afterwards.
I'd like to be used retrospectively on the diving

The French Penalty was a joke, over three minutes to sort out. They carried on playing for nearly a minute before play stopped. You’d have been pissed off had you picked up an injury in that time or indeed scored up the other end.

Surrounding and bullying the ref is another thing. Automatic miss one game for any that do.

You don't need VAR for that - you just need referees to grow a pair and send a couple of the slavering ****s off, the various football associations to back the refs and jobs a good 'un. VAR to be used to punish diving ****s only, the game's sorted ...... right there!

Yeah I missed that game so my comment wasn't based on that one.

I don't think you need VAR very much at all. All the problems with refereeing are more about attitudes, laws and their interpretation rather than the ref's vision. Very often the VAR decision is still one I completely disagree with.
