Absolute garbage mate...i used to believe you knew the game....but after that...I'm not sure......!!

Filling the squad with pem experince is a massive plus..regardless of who it is....can you not see that?
Yeah, Barton and SWP were total proof of that. The fact is most of our best players last season were the old team.

16 of our 25 are already over 30, HH, Johnson, Dyer will miss most of the season injured. Theres no point adding more crocks.

Cery played against some of the bigger sides and was awsome - liverpool and arsenal away spring to mind. One stunning save low to his left at liverpool really stands out.

He made some top class saves Judo. Okay he flapped and fumbled a bit but as I said above, its better having a mix of both than just being below average overall.

I'll always have summat against him though for bottling that challenge against Leeds in the last game of 10/11!!

So you think we should only buy players better than the first team. Ok let's spend 100 million finding players better than Taarabt, Faulin, Cisse etc. Man you come out with some stupid **** sometimes. Just think before you post stupid stuff!

Talking about stupid ****, you dont replace those, you replace the likes of Hill, Young, Barton, SWP, Derry.

Try taking your own advice. Ive never once said they should be replaced.

Welcome to Rob Green. Had a feeing in my special waters that he was on his way. Hope he does well.

So that's 4 keepers but if kenny goes and we offload murphy(as is rumor'd) we still need a number 2 right?

Anyone got any insight on this?

Ive never seen anything about Murphy going. Theres no point in dumping him only to get in another 3rd choice keeper unless it was a prospect for the future.

I think our keepers are already set for next season.

Good signing in my opinion. Of all the keepers we've been linked with, he was top of my list. Of the others, Given has looked decidedly dodgy this last couple of weeks for Ireland. Good to see we can attract players of the calibre of Green.

We'd be hard pressed to find a better keeper than Cerny to stay on the sidelines all season long and not complain to much about it.

He was treated very harshly after he played those 5 games and never said a word.

Murphy wont play anyway so I dont see the problem in what weve done

Come on Flyer! You said to only replace first team players and young, SWP and Derry aint first team players! They are back ups. You been watching QPR at all?

They had 64 apps combined last season, have you been watching?

Taarabt has 28, I guess that means he isnt a 1st team player too.
Barton had 32, not a 1st teamer either?

Derry started the 3rd most games and SWP the 5th most.

Derry back up for Faulin, Young is back up form Onuhoa, SWP back up,for Mackie. Might have been first team at the beginning of the season but not anymore. So those 3 are all reserves. Use your brain flyer!

Youve already been proven wrong. Its not worth replying to you any more.

It's a squad game ... Will make it hell with the formation dreamers this season ... Allowed more subs this season aren't we ? If so the bench has to be strong
Rob green ? Well he is here now and he is QPR so I support him

Haha because Faulin was injured somDerry got some games. Look at the appearances after Hughes took over and Young and SWP hardly played. Don't reply then flyer but I know how you don't like being proven wrong ;)

Not all of them but other than the top class ones at the Super Clubs, the rest are all pretty much the same. You're probably better off having a Flapper that comes and gets most of them but flaps now and again, thus making him look sh*t but it reality a guy like that will actually save more goals for you in a Season than he'll let in with his howlers.

The extreme example of such a player would be David James. Always came off his line and half the time made a fool out of himself but a lot of the time, unnoticed, he claimed ball that would have been left to his over-worked center-halves to deal with. James is too much in the extreme but I just used him to illustrate my point.

What you reckon Bobby Lad?

Agree that it does seem most keepers are almost scared to come and command the area/catch crosses etc incase they fumble it and it leads to a chance/goal - which will then be highlighted on MoTD or whatever other programme/media source and they'll be castigated for it.

As I remember, catching the ball was always an integral part of being a goal keeper. How times change.

Now you're talkin' Bobby! :emoticon-0148-yes:
