Wow, that was some final day. That tee shot on 16 probably won it for him. Molinari and Koepka chucked it away in spectacular fashion mind. Absolutely buzzing for Tiger though, thoroughly deserves the win and a great win for golf. Don’t think there’ll be anyone not happy for him. He’s only a year younger than me, time for me yet
I've been out (again) today, third round this week Out in 39, back nine 36, three birdies could have had six if my putter had been working. A mad scorecard included two 2s, five threes, I even had a six and two sevens...and shot 75! Turned out to be a good day for golf once that breeze died off. EDIT, I've just realised I played the six par threes in 16 shots all told. They range from 150-180 yards.
I played 9 last night, tee shots with the driver were all over the place but I’ve been watching some videos and trying a few things out which clearly made things worse. Finally realised on the 17th that I’ve been putting most of my weight on my back foot which is naturally making me slice the ball quite badly. Corrected it straight away, sure enough my tee shots on the 17th and 18th were bang on and I seemed to get a bit more distance that I’ve been getting as well. Course was really quiet last night so had a good bit practice with a few extra balls. Hoping to hammer it over the weekend like!
Aye, my drives have been going slightly right of late as well. This is where we need Jim's advice, I reckon he would say our swing it to blame, it's going in and out(?), I guess we both need to be have the swing more 'vertical' or more perpendicular even? I think the further you get into your round the more tired you become and the swing suffers. Come on Jim, where are you?
That video is only missing some benny hill music and some scantily clad laydeeeez running around in the background!
