Hes quality in my top two to sign along with aluko, wants the ball, goes looking for the ball and is very direct. Assists and scores. Busier than kkren and more consistent
Bruce is obviously letting Boyd stay at Peterborough this weekend so that he can score the winner against Lesta
If you read at the bottom of this article, Posh need to shift Boyd's 10k a week wages. seems a club is taking him on loan next week. Us? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21372447
I cant see us bringing anyone in until the end of the month to cover us for the playoffs, just in case...
Forget the play - offs. Hull City are going up in the top 2. Some people are obsessed with fooooking play-offs. We have done that route, got the T-shirt and bought the video. Let Lesta and 3 others do the play-offs. I used to like Holloway. But since he has gone to Palace his ego has taken over and is off the chart. He had much to say about Zaha in the past being tapped up. So it looks like Holloway has burnst another bridge. imo Yes he can easily. But his best positions are ""in the hole or central midfield"". Boyd would be a good squad addition and NOT a replacement for Koren. Thats just stupid to even think as much. We need cover for injuries. Still a long way to go. I like the idea of leaving Boyd @ The Posh for this weekend. He can do Hull City a great favour by getting the winner and signing off in style with them. If that happened he would arrive a hero. Forget his stupid haircut, at least he ahs some. Lol. Ageed. But then again if your good enough you can play anywhere ?? Now that would be so funny if it happened and would upset our Lesta fans greatly. I hear that Lesta have sold over 4,500 tickets for that game. Come on THE POSH......WIN.!!!!!! £10k a week for Boyd ? Michu at Swansea has just signed a new contract worth £30k a week according to the welsh and national press.. At least that leaves some extra funds for another loan near the end of the ELW.
Well Fergie jnr did say that 2 clubs were now interested. But i hear that we have got a white stick and a guide dog which has swung the deal our way. Lol.
C'mon WHT, please don't fall for TWF's unsubtle attempt at sarcasm (suspect he really meant to divert thoughts away from his love child Mr.Bullshit).
He was warned about what would happen, but he carried on doing it anyway. We can split the loan. We did it with Guzan. QPR did it with Tommy Smith (notice the date on the link rules out it being a long term loan) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...R-permanent-switch-January.html#axzz2KLjQewjr It was 109 days between him joining QPR (1 day before he played), and the last game he played for QPR (28th December) before the January window opened. With a 93 day maximum loan they've obviously split the loan.
I think he is hanging on in case of the play off's or he is going down every avenue possible to try and get a striker in but if this fails then he will go for Boyd. I am positive if Boyd had been a natural striker then he would be here now
I'm sure you're right - just shows the dearth of forward talent available that will actually improve us. Just pray Sone Aluko is back sooner than later cos lets face it whilst we won games without him in Dec they were only by the odd goal (or two in the case of Udders and a late one at that) and thats now starting to bite us in the arse...
I think Sone will be back for the Blackburn match and hopefully we will also have another addition by then
Todays Peterborough evening telegraph. www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport/f...ed/bruce-expects-boyd-decision-soon-1-4776074 Never mind waiting Brucie get him in now. Aim for the Top 2 not the play-offs.!!!
