it's what chelsea have bred since the money rolled in. they(players) know full well they will just get a different manager in to keep the egos (because of the money)happy, never get rid of the player will they
give me lots of money to spend and i could give it a good fecking go i will also laugh at the pay off i get when players don't like me any more wouldn't catch me being a miserable ****
Never happened. It was a fan revolt if anything. As I recall Carragher was interviewed after Roy was sacked and said he thought exactly the same of RH before he came, while he was there and after he left.
who? the **** who said we should be happy for draws at home against ****e? and you wonder why he is friends with fergie
Just saying the logic is players down tools and get bad results. Hodgson had you in relegation form until you got Kenny and magically everyone plays better and you reach 2 finals. Sometimes managers are good or bad rather than the players attitudes
that's a fair enough argument bobby. i would be frustrated as **** with hazard though given the obvious talent.
Fair point except with us and Hodgson the players didn't down tools. This was his first team selection game one: Cavalieri; Kelly, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Agger; Aquilani, Lucas, Spearing; Amoo, N’Gog, Jovanović. It had - I don't know what I'm doing - written all over it and things never looked up from day 1. Which of these players btw do you think downed tools?
it had i'm in a relegation fight written all over it, so why the **** did he become our manager ffs. what was his forte again? oh yeah keep teams up ffs!!!!
It wasn't his fault so much as the owners for appointing him. He'd never managed a 'big' team before and was completely out of his depth. Why that was obvious to everyone except the owners is a mystery.
that's fair enough jb, but was his fault, was telling us we should be grateful to get a point at home to ****e , and drinking with the **** down the road.
Hodgson got the job based on a good run in the Europey with Fulham and getting a Manager of the Year Award. He was appointed by owners who knew nothing about "soccer" and didn't have a clue what they were doing. Oh, and the club was in meltdown. He's a decent mid-table manager but no more. He took the attitude that mid-table was LFC's place now and that we should be satisfied with that. Regardless of the players, the fans will never accept that lack of ambition. We might have been witnessing mediocrity, but we would never be satisfied with it. He was a bad fit, that's all.
