i haven't followed him managerial wise, i only know of the rep from being a player.
He's not really proven. He inherited a very good Real Madrid side and although he did very well to win three CLs in a row (nobody had done two in a row beforehand), he was **** domestically.
He could prove to be a very good manager but right now, he's unproven imo. He's certainly never built (or rebuilt) a team.
He's never had to do any tactics. Leagues have teams who will take a draw to beat. The CL is mainly 2 teams playing for a win and who has the better and most cheating players.
Wouldn't say he was **** domestically. Last year yes .He won it in his first full year and he got them cl after taking over from Rafa's **** show in the first season

Still, he didn't have to do much with the players he inherited. And as Astro said, he didn't even need to apply tactics in most games
Nah he isn't ****. Was excellent as Valencia and did well with you guys until the end (combo of him and g and h).
But he was sacked from real cause of player revolts I think but in terms of his record (just had a look)

You could say that but when does it become bad management? So presumably Jose is still great cause he got the Chelsea lads to win the league until the players downed tools?
