Liverpool are set to make a new £25m bid for Christian Benteke but Aston Villa are set to hold out for his £32.5M release clause.

Man City look likely to set a new British record fee, with the £60m signing of Pogba.

Nice profit for Ipswich Town on the Mings deal.

Bought for £10,000 Selling for £8m.

Maybe Liverpool will offer both Lambert and Borini to Villa as part of any Benteke deal ?

Bent eke has said he wont sign a new deal with Villa and will run it down if he has to.

Northampton Town have agreed a two-year deal with goalkeeper Adam Smith, who was recently sacked by Leicester City for his part in a racist sex video.

The 22-year-old was one of three players to have their deals terminated because of the video, filmed on the club's end-of-season tour of Thailand.

"Everyone knows I got myself in a situation which I'm deeply ashamed of and sorry for," said Smith. "I'm just pleased the manager here has given me a second chance."

Real Madrid are set to make a €28M bid for Arsenal centre-back, Laurent Koscielny.

Galatasaray have confirmed they would like to sign Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski this summer.

Birmingham City have rejected bids from Leeds and Reading for striker Clayton Donaldson

We sold him too cheap, but at least now we've got a total fee of £1.25m, which isn't a disaster.

Personally, I'd have kept him, I think he's better than Quinn.

Agreed and agreed.

It's essentially a £1.25m fee for a player with 6 months on his contract who had shown a lot of promise but never managed to perform consistently and hold down a first team place.

It's a good fee given the circumstances, though I do think we'd have been better off with him than the money he's earned us.

I think he was unlucky really, he got that really bad injury while he was getting a run in the team and he never really got the chance to get back in.

He seems to be getting younger...
