Agreed and agreed. It's essentially a £1.25m fee for a player with 6 months on his contract who had shown a lot of promise but never managed to perform consistently and hold down a first team place. It's a good fee given the circumstances, though I do think we'd have been better off with him than the money he's earned us.
I think he was unlucky really, he got that really bad injury while he was getting a run in the team and he never really got the chance to get back in. He seems to be getting younger... please log in to view this image
