Norwich City obviously dont. Him and Butterfield rolled into one are no replacement for Lee Hughes, out for months sadly for the lad.

The teams that need Austin do find £15m rich even with PL wonga. Next summer Austin can please himself as i suspect that he wont be signing another contract with the dramas.

Rumours of Wba splashing out £20m on Austin and Matt Phillips were just that. Especially after the Berahino comedy show.

Thankfully the window has closed. However, what awaits us once the FL loan window opens next week ???

twt........

He's getting on a bit now isn't he? I thought he'd dropped into non-league? Ohhh you mean Will Hughes. I can see how you made that mistake, they're very similar players <laugh>

Yes i did mean Will Hughes. Derby have not and will not replace that talent. Massive loss.

Wba fans are saying that Tony Pulis had Charlie Austin - Matt Phillips and Michail Antonio all lined up with the Berahino wonga. Looks like TP has his work cut out now. twt.

Veteran striker Lee Hughes, who once cost Coventry City £5m, has joined National League North club Worcester City.

Worcester reached the second round of the FA Cup last season by beating Coventry, but are currently next to bottom in the table.

They are tenants of Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough, the ground where the 39-year-old began his career 20 years ago.

Same division as North Ferriby Utd

Why the loan market is so very wrong. 2 examples......

Chelsea have 33 players under contract OUT on loan all over Europe.

but worse

Juventus have 47 players under contract OUT on loan all over Europe.

Man Utd have re-opened contract talks with David de Gea, and he is expected to sign a 5-year deal this week.

His new deal is rumoured to be at £200k a week.

Thibaut Courtois is expected to be out of action for at least two months after suffering a serious knee injury.

BREAKING: Manchester United keeper David de Gea has signed a new 4-year contract with the club (with the option of a 5th year)..
I was surprised he was only on 50K a week until this happened. Madrid will probably still buy him at the end of the season so Man U will make a fair bit now and De Gea will be compensated for missing his dream move. Feel a bit sorry for Romero I thought he looked OK despite all the usual suspects amongst the pundits willing him to fail (dipshits like Michael Owen), no doubt Romero will be benched ASAP.

just read about Campbell in the SSN section. He hasn't done anything of note for ages. Underwhelming - much rather sign Carlton Cole or someone of that ilk.
