Best reply to it as well @Jakzeh: .@SBerahino I'd never play Jeremy Peace either tbh, terrible instinct in front of goal. Guess that's why hes the chairman.
I didn't realise Derby had signed ex Leeds player Bradley Johnson from Norwich. He's a great signing for them. I really rate him.
Not sure if already mentioned on here, but the stat which came up earlier today about Arsenal being the only team in the top 5 european leagues not to sign an outfield player is unfucking believable, that man is hands down one of the most stoopidest most stubborn people alive. For 10 years now anyone with footballing knowledge has looked at Arsenal and said, they need a keeper, cb, dm and striker. Every season it's the same comment and every season arsenal fans end up disappointed, this transfer window though, to only sign Cech is as wreckless as it comes, with the risk of the PL losing a CL place too, 4th may not be good enough in the future. What on earth is e playing at!?!?
Just seen Adam Hammill has been released by Huddersfield, he's dropped down in the World. It's not that long ago he was being hailed as the next winger that would make it big. I think we, the fans, were saying he'd be a great signing if we could get him when we went up the first time, or last time. It's all very confusing.
Biggest surprise of the window for me is that there appears not to have been one serious bid from any PL club to get Austin at DQPR, find that strange. I know they were asking for 15m , to PL clubs that's peanuts with the silly money been thrown about.
Sheffield Wednesday’s loan move for Gary Hooper fell through after the Owls turned down the striker’s request for a VIP box at Hillsborough, The Star can reveal. Hooper, the Norwich City forward, passed a medical with Wednesday last week after the Owls agreed to pay a £500,000 loan fee, and fund the player’s £32,000-per-week wages in full. But the move collapsed over the provision of a VIP box at Hillsborough, which are thought to retail at around £30,000 a season, for Hooper’s friends and family . http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/shef...ip-box-row-scupper-owls-hooper-move-1-7438919
They would pay him 32k a week, but not give him a box that costs 30k a season, a bit silly really from both sides!
Still coming in... Porto have signed Miguel Layun from Watford on a season-long loan, with an option to buy him for 6mil euros at the end of the loan. Manchester City centre back Jason Denayer has joined Turkish club Galatasaray on a season-long loan.
BBC Know your county Now here's how not to endear yourself to your new fans. Derby County's record signing Bradley Johnson calls them "Derby City". Best get a few man of the match performances in a bit sharpish then Bradley.
Very funny, maybe he wanted to come to us & was mentally saying City so he wouldn't come out with Tigers! I can't believe that £6 million is their record fee they've paid out. Still I suppose the last time they were in the top flight was a few years ago. If they don't go up this year they may well be ****ed next year. I think they will though!
That was quite funny, he doesn't sound all that bright... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34127006
Be careful what you tweet...it may come back to bite you. BBC Barton regrets Burnley tweet New Burnley midfielder Joey Barton says he regrets sending tweets criticising the town while at QPR last season. Barton told a Clarets fan: "We may well be really overrated but at least we don't have to live in Burnley". The 33-year-old joined Sean Dyche's side in August, after West Ham pulled out of a deal to sign the former Manchester City and Newcastle player. "I wish I hadn't done it in a social media space because it was taken out of context," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
Norwich City obviously dont. Him and Butterfield rolled into one are no replacement for Will Hughes, out for months sadly for the lad. The teams that need Austin do find £15m rich even with PL wonga. Next summer Austin can please himself as i suspect that he wont be signing another contract with the dramas. Rumours of Wba splashing out £20m on Austin and Matt Phillips were just that. Especially after the Berahino comedy show. Thankfully the window has closed. However, what awaits us once the FL loan window opens next week ??? twt........
