It's certainly looking like there are Rapids downstream for them.

Chicago and Houston both have made last min 7 mill bids for Hernandez and aparantly are offering $10 mill a year in salary. Reports are that Man U have countered demanding 11 mill.

We should know fairly soon if they agreed, paperwork had to be in an hour ago for deals to go through. My guess would be they won't agree and will bid again next season for him although I don't know if 10 mill a year in salary would still be on the table.

Derby had a £5m bid for Antonio rejected apparently. With Ince one side and Antonio they would walk the league easily imo

An avalanche of goals conceded awaits them.

I can imagine Clement being an incredibly good manager at this level as well. My tip for promotion personally even without Antonio.

Ermm.. I think he meant about selling Hernandez. The Abel variety. I thought the same for a second.

We are unlikely to get excited about the other one going to the MLS ;)

Yea I knew who he meant. They have really been trying to get Chichirito to come here as you can see by offering him a $10 mill a year salary. It would be a bigger deal then when Beckham came.

    Skysports Transfer Centre:

    QPR DROP AUSTIN PRICE

QPR are willing to listen to offers for less than £15m for Charlie Austin, according to the Daily Mirror.

The striker looks likely to move away from Loftus Road with Newcastle and Tottenham interested but no club has yet to meet QPR’s £15m valuation for the player.

However, QPR are willing to drop their asking price for Austin to £13m - provided the transfer fee is paid in full, according to the newspaper.

No one would pay that for Abel. Chichirito coming to the MLS would be a bigger deal than Beckham coming.

To the extent that some people would produce more than a "little pee"?

Just in terms of the qty of Mexican football fans in the U.S. it would be a huge deal. It's why they pushed so hard for him and Dos Santos who they were able to bring in. Maybe the equivalent would be Celtic signing Rooney away from Man U.

Sunderland to bid for Rhodes? At that kind of money they'd be better off with Austin.
