It's certainly looking like there are Rapids downstream for them. They're in for a rocky time of it, then.

Chicago and Houston both have made last min 7 mill bids for Hernandez and aparantly are offering $10 mill a year in salary. Reports are that Man U have countered demanding 11 mill.
We should know fairly soon if they agreed, paperwork had to be in an hour ago for deals to go through. My guess would be they won't agree and will bid again next season for him although I don't know if 10 mill a year in salary would still be on the table.I was excited reading the first part of that...

Derby had a £5m bid for Antonio rejected apparently. With Ince one side and Antonio they would walk the league easily imo

Yea I knew who he meant. They have really been trying to get Chichirito to come here as you can see by offering him a $10 mill a year salary. It would be a bigger deal then when Beckham came.Ermm.. I think he meant about selling Hernandez. The Abel variety. I thought the same for a second.
We are unlikely to get excited about the other one going to the MLS![]()

No one would pay that for Abel. Chichirito coming to the MLS would be a bigger deal than Beckham coming.****ing hell! Like others, I thought this was great news until I got to the bit about Man Utd. You'll give us all heart attacks.

Just in terms of the qty of Mexican football fans in the U.S. it would be a huge deal. It's why they pushed so hard for him and Dos Santos who they were able to bring in. Maybe the equivalent would be Celtic signing Rooney away from Man U.To the extent that some people would produce more than a "little pee"?
