Okay, you were wrong and was proven so, but what have you to say over the main point of the post? : Liverpool have been without Van Djik and Gomez for most of the season, but the post-match analysis on Sky focussed solely on how poor United had missed Maguire for three games, and were thus unable to adapt and defend adequately? Not enough positive stokes from the gallery in going down that road? :emoticon-0138-think

I'd start by saying, I'm shocked any club would spend £80M on Maguire but I've said that too many times already. I'd seen him play at lower league level and how he suddenly justified such a price tag at Premier League level is just obscene, but hey it ain't real money.

As for the Liverpool players you mention, I've never paid any attention to them tbph.

In regards to SKY focus, they are always bias one way or another dependent on the loyalties of the pundit. Although Roy Keane can be quite forward in speaking out about United, he never holds back on his punches - I quite like that, even if he can come across a miserable old sod at times.

You was all null and void last year, I'm sure it was behind the saving lives slogan.

Yet this year with no fans at all and the pandemic even worse you've said nothing<laugh>

See. This is what I mean about the same energy. It's just not there is it <whistle>

Football never stopped this season, so I’ve literally no idea what straw you’re desperately trying to grasp mate,

In fairness, it wasn't really him. It was more Tyler, Redknapp and Neville, truth be told, and the **** of a host whose name escapes me.

Keane is ok, I barely listen to the other three you mention. As for Neville, I know his exploits at Salford, well before all the recent stuff kicked-off and he was not in my favourable books shall we say. He was right to speak out, I don't deny him that, hypocrite is maybe a bit strong, albeit others might disagree.

So that your reason for calling for null and void last year but not this. Cos the season was stopped.

I dont believe you for one second but fair enough.

I think it had something to do with the legal ramifications of the Dutch league being null and voided, iirc. Not so much the French and other leagues terminating their leagues and determining positions on points per game and so forth. Indeed, it was absolutely imperative the league be finished and null and voided because the aforementioned old people would definitely survive Covid better than any other course of action. It was science AND the law.

The game stopped my arse. If that was the case, why was it so important it HAD to be null and voided? <rofl>
