Okay, you were wrong and was proven so, but what have you to say over the main point of the post? : Liverpool have been without Van Djik and Gomez for most of the season, but the post-match analysis on Sky focussed solely on how poor United had missed Maguire for three games, and were thus unable to adapt and defend adequately? Not enough positive stokes from the gallery in going down that road?![]()
I'd start by saying, I'm shocked any club would spend £80M on Maguire but I've said that too many times already. I'd seen him play at lower league level and how he suddenly justified such a price tag at Premier League level is just obscene, but hey it ain't real money.
As for the Liverpool players you mention, I've never paid any attention to them tbph.
In regards to SKY focus, they are always bias one way or another dependent on the loyalties of the pundit. Although Roy Keane can be quite forward in speaking out about United, he never holds back on his punches - I quite like that, even if he can come across a miserable old sod at times.
