Would have been far more exciting to have been

And relegation.

Jimmy Greaves 220 goals in 321 games (according to wiki) for Spurs, and the best he got was a seat at the final and we managed without him (injury). Maybe Kane needs to get injured to test if Fosse is right or wrong. So who is our future Geoff Hurst?

Modric wants a word.
Vardy too ... apart from Premier League and FA Cup winners medals of course...
Thanks for the set up Peeved![]()
Greavsie played in all the World Cup group games so was deserving of his winner's medal - would also have fancied him to score in the final - and not just from the penalty spot ...
Plus Greavsie won a couple of FA Cups with Spurs ... and the Scudetto in his one season at AC Milan...
So no real comparison at all![]()

Vardy cut his teeth away from Leicester. Sheffield Wednesday and Stocksbridge….
Boom.

Have a look at how often he scores in big games and you'll probably find more than 2 but I'm betting not many more and I haven't checked.lol, small teams only? Kane scored winning goals against Real at the Bernabeu and against City at the Ethihad, the 2 best clubs in the world.
Clowns.

I said big games.Didn’t he have a great record against Arsenal?
Didn’t he have a great record against Arsenal?
Googled it… 39 goals and 9 assists in 81 games against the rest of the Sky Six. Quite good considering how dross Spurs were compared to the others for much of his career.
14 in the NLD 7 were pens so take that from his 39 and it isn't great especially in 81 games.Didn’t he have a great record against Arsenal?
