Weak argument

Why doesn’t everyone score the amount of goals Kane does then?
Because they don't play in the Bayern team, Kane has always scored lots against the so called smaller teams and often doesn't turn up when it really matters. How many did he score against Leverkusen last season?

Pretty much on the money there ... Jannick Vestergaard looked very comfortable against Harry in the Euros ... and Jannick rarely looks comfortable against anyone! ... <laugh>

Harry is an excellent finisher, without question ... but he needs to be receiving the ball in a position to finish in the first place - which is quite often at the apex of a slow ponderous build up/ passage of play or from a set piece ... whether for club or country that is always going to find you out at the highest level when you come up against the best players....

Morata looked great for Spain in the Euros - he's not as good a finisher as HK ... but he's way more mobile and fits in perfectly as a fulcrum for their 'young guns'...

lol, small teams only? Kane scored winning goals against Real at the Bernabeu and against City at the Ethihad, the 2 best clubs in the world.
Clowns.

That time he spent at Leicester gave him small time mentality when it came to scoring in the big games.

I don’t like Spurs very much, but they’ve had some truly great players over the years, and Harry Kane’s right up there with the best of them.

Jimmy Greaves 220 goals in 321 games (according to wiki) for Spurs, and the best he got was a seat at the final and we managed without him (injury). Maybe Kane needs to get injured to test if Fosse is right or wrong. So who is our future Geoff Hurst?

Jimmy Greaves a bit before even my time, but achieved legendary status as one half of Saint and Greavesie.

... and yet ... despite playing in good teams throughout a long career... has won nowt ... must be something in the water ...

Bit before both of our times, but when looking at records, he had quite some record for making comparisons. I'd suggest Jimmy Greaves is a good comparison well unless people in 50-60 years time dismiss Kane's record, not suggesting you are, but it's quite often how record comparisons roll when looking back in time.

Statswise perhaps ... but Greavsie could dribble past opponents... rather than just on them <whistle>
