That was the only the die hards, those still finishing pre match pints in the concourse and those that hadn't caught their breath back from walking all the way up there. the rest left after 10 minutes

 

You ever done those stairs? They’re awful.

 

Used to have my season ticket up there for years. For future visits the trick is to pretend you have a gammy knee and they let you up in the lifts

 

Am I correct in thinking you stick away fans all the way up in the top tier, if so, why?

 

Home advantage innit. There was talk of forcing clubs to put at least some away fans by the pitch but guess that hasn’t happened. Sunderland is similar.

 

Its special dispensation. The wheelchair users have a platform that is the main walkway through the stand (behind me these days) from about the 7th row. Due to the wheelchair access road and ramp and this platform it was seen as not suitable to place them directly in front of or in the middle of away supporters. FWIW I don't see why they can't have away fans in The East stand (pitch side) other than those seats are more expensive.....due to not having to look at said East Stand

Bet he scored a number of winners or equalisers in those games.

He didn’t play in those matches but it’s a much more serious offence if he’s betting on matches he has proper inside info on.

 

He didn't play in any of them. And some were loan clubs not Brentford if I've read correctly.

But he could've conspired with others who were playing to influence those losses.

Apparently also has a gambling addiction problem. So expect to see Arsenal going in hard for him in the transfer window.

 

The gambling addiction thing is a lie to cover him IMO. A gambling addict is betting more regularly than that.

 

I heard it was a factor in reducing it to an 8 month ban instead of a 12 month one. He was seen by a shrink apparently who said he was.

I don't know enough about it either way, but it could backfire on him with some big clubs considering that a problem they don't want in a player. So could scupper future transfer possibilities for him.

 

Gambling addict Toney or abusive partner Greenwood, choices choices. I doubt with the former anyone can say anything considering a lot of footie now is swamped with betting advertising, including SKY, let alone club sponsorships.
