Suicide watch over on RAWK... "We were absolute dogshit at times this season. Hodgson era level bad. 5th is a decent finish given the level of performances earlier in the season, and the difference this season is Newcastle. We beat them twice and they still bought 4th. Any other season we would be there instead. I try not to pick out specific what if moments because there are far too many."
That place is crazy at times. We didn't deserve 4th and it didn't look likely so just crack on innit.
Honestly think next toon manager is Jose - whenever that may be. Will be a batshit crazy decision but he's always said he wanted the gig one day.
Yeh he does that a lot You lot would hate it, until he wins you silverware. Then you'll hate him after that. It'll be interesting to see how Howe does next season. On a personal level I hope he does well and if he does end up leaving he goes on to another big club.
The thing for other teams is this isn't a Leicester situation, it's a Man City one, we aren't going away now.
Yeah but you can make bad decisions and not get there. It's not just the manager it's the people behind the scenes, we've been a great example of that until this season with the right players brought in at the right times.
He seems like a genuine and humble bloke with a crazy work ethos. I just hope he doesn't burn himself out. If it goes tits up, I'll honestly wish him all the best. It's the improvements in the **** players that's been a highlight. We've had so many **** coaches that seeing improvements in players like Murphy, Miggy, Longstaff, Joelinton is just massively refreshing.
There’s a thread for your boring conversation https://www.not606.com/threads/newcastle-garbage-bin.407100/ try not to spam every thread with your 1 topic Thanks
Can't get away with that bloke. My favourite has to be that Expressions Oozing (Spurs fan) he's comedy gold.
Eh? Well yeah you could look back and make transfers earlier but we've won things so one season without that is what it is and that can still be corrected Custard.
We weren't expecting to get top 4 for about 3 seasons or whatever, we've made the correct decisions with manager and players and fast tracked it, we've learned from Man City not to go stupid early with Robinho's etc, now we are there we will spend, we haven't even started yet.
Well he seems like that now he's managing Roma. If things don't go so well at Newcastle for him he will go full kamakazee. But that's the risk you take. He'll defo bring silverware though.
He might be a good short term option but he'll **** the team up and there will be work to do by his replacement.
