Tough game today, looking forward to it though, should be a decent spectacle if both sides turn up

Cracking win.

Not a particularly great performance, picking Hibbert at LB was truly mystifying and predictably he stank the place out there. Garbutt must have crossed swords with Martinez........

Eto'o brought calmness and a real touch of class to the proceedings inch perfect ball for the winner.

West Ham are a set of whining bitches in the mirror image of their manager, some of he snideness was grim. That gobshite Nolan, the RS pikey and Tomkins being at the heart of it, whoppers all 3 of 'em.

Im on the motorway sounds like we deserved something from the game today:steam:

Maybe, but we were the architects of our own downfall today. Gifted them an equaliser and then not content with that, gifted them another right on the striker of HT. Distin and Howard stank and overall we lacked energy and pace on the ball. Disappointing result after bossing the first 20 and scoring a peach

It should be a home banker, but this is Everton, and we rarely do home bankers, so I fear the worst....

You watch, we'll get gubbed and then go and beat City away on Sat ffs. <doh>

Can't see us getting anything at your place tonight.

We've been woeful on our travels since we were last in Liverpool, when we got a draw at Anfield. I mean we had to be the first team to give Burnley a win.

I'd love us to nick it, but i think you'll have too much for us.

Just go easy eh.

four points from the next two is the maximum we will get IMO, something is just not right at the moment.....It's naismith being out. He is so much better in that link role than anyone else this and last season

Naismith should be back for City at least as should McCarthy. One of them might even make it back for tonight but at least it seems as though our extensive injury list is shortening. I think that's just Alcaraz, Gibson and Stones who out now.

I do fancy our chances for tonight because it just seems the sort of team we're able to put away this season, It's the top teams we can't buy a win against and I expect that to continue on Sunday.

I think Mirallas may be rested for tonight. He only came back this week and started all three matches.

Worst home performance I have seen for a good while...

Howard beaten at his near post? Is he sleeping during matches these days??

Outworked and outpressed in midfield AGAIN! That is two on the bounce, I have serious doubt about Barkley at the moment. His ball control and passing were dire. This just puts/heaps pressure on the defnce as he is given licence to roam. We need Naismith ASAP

It was pretty bad last night Coleman looks ****e at the moment going forward and Distin needs to hang his boots up...I think this playing out from the back stuff looks great when It works but largely It doesn't (Similar to LFC at the mo) the more you do It the more a mistake Is likely to happen we have more possession regularly but do nothing with It how many times have we passed back or sideways as there are no runners?

Our front line don't seem to do these runs as much as they are not expecting the through ball....

What a pile of absolute ****e that was.

I hope the booing at the end resonated in Bobby's head, as he needs to take stock.

I always accused him of vanity when he was at Wigan, as he persevered with his 'style' when he'd have been better served having a 'plan b'. He's at the same point with us, sides have figured us out and simply press us hard and compress the play. We need to mix it up more, especially given that Lukaku is at his best when playing off the shoulder, as opposed to having the ball played into him.

Distin and Howard cost us yet again, but neither are likely to be dropped for differing reasons, however a new keeper and a quality CB needs to be at the top of his agenda.
