Love the way my election thread got deleted yet this ones allowed.
Double standards much @originallambrettaman

No double standards. OLM wasn't around when this was started, I was and chose to let it run as I recalled earlier threads on the subject were felt to be too far away from the election. I'm not convinced I made the right choice.

In any event, the thread is here now, so you have an opportunity to discuss it. <ok>

How about Jo Swinson?

Just seen a headline saying she as been advised to wear lower cut tops.
Smoked loads of dope.
And liberal

I know sexist pig, someone's daughter and all that
I would. Saw her on the sofa with Dan Walker this morning. She is probably the most attractive party leader, although that is not saying much. I was looking at her norgs, is that non-PC?

Anybody been to any hustings? Get a feel for the candidates you’ll vote for? A chance to put specific questions to them. A chance to see how they react in person rather than simple sound bites in the press.

I've not been to the hustings, but I had a natter with Karl Turner at the bar when I was at the Jonathan Pie gig.

I asked him about voting against the EU withdrawal bill and his view was that. Hull has had millions of pounds of investment from the EU. That would never be replaced under on Tory government and if that cost him his job then so be it.

I’m 64 and have voted Labour since I first voted in 1973.
That would have been difficult, there was no General Election in 1973. There were two in 1974. I was too young for the Feb 74 one, but voted in Oct 74.

Im voting tory for the first time ever, hull north candidate is well tidy, just got a piccy of her pushed through my box today

"He started it, guv, with his condescending, patronising assertions of his views being intellectually superior to others."

The ****ing lack of self awareness there.

Honestly @DMD , I don't think temp bans are gonna do much, just delay the inevitable with a certain few.

Anyways, we're up to 41 pages now without someone posting something positive about the Tory manifesto without mentioning Labour. We've had a couple of people come close, but they just couldn't help themselves and had to bring up the reds - hopefully someone can come out of nowhere and smash it!

Hi Quill,

For what it's worth, the Tory government has done relatively very well on environmental issues the last 9 years and many of their proposals, under Gove and allegedly Symmonds, are radical in comparison to the rest of Europe/world, apart from scandi countries.
