Why her more than the others though?

Because she’s on the Left rather than the Right. The Right are more likely to be racist abusing idiots.

Cleverly may get called out by the Left for his ignorant idiocy but that’s enough they don’t feel the need to mention his skin colour or a fancy to rape him. It’s a decency thing.

Complex questions, reduced to tennis balls power-served day after day in this election rally.

Leaving the KCOM yesterday, sat in the dark under a tree near the AIRCO arena was a young man begging, sat with his dog.

Further on SBW there was a normally dressed man slumped against a wall looking like he'd sat there and nodded off.

Everyone has their own individual story of the situation they now find themselves in, it seems very cynical in the extreme to blame your political opponent for every social casualty out there.

Many ills to this society.

But austerity was a political choice and it is quite easy to demonstrate the effects it has had on services and the population.

Yes, no anti Semitic lefties are there? Anyone suggested stringing her up like lefties have done regarding their opponents.

Is it?

Some of the people who sleep rough in Hull city centre could sleep in Council provided beds but choose not to.

It's a complex picture out there.

Never been so many foodbanks. never been so many fat folk either.

Back to page 48 of the Tory Manifesto.

What’s the general consensus? Are they good policies? Is it a dangerous precedent? Why page 48?

Or are we limited, between us, to justifying or admonishing people’s right to threaten to rape, murder & racially abuse a black female MP because she’s successful, diabetic & sent her kids to private school?

I do like Labours pledge to help the homeless get off the streets and into accommodation, though I suspect the reality is that it is far easier to say than achieve. Which just about sums up some of Labour's key ideas. eg Reform of the monarchy. How?

Foodbanks have nothing to do with obesity.

I know some people who work for homeless charities in different cities. As a rule, it is certainly not a choice.

I used to talk to a few of the rough sleepers, and some had beds, but preferred not to use them. They did seem to be in need of psychiatric help though.

Some small traders I've spoken to are saying the food banks are having some impact on their trade.

I'll ask again. Try to keep to topics and not stooping to personal comments about fellow posters or sections of society.

The generally misunderstood phrase "the exception proves the rule" can apply here. In the proper context "proving" means "testing".

The general rule on here is no politics, this thread is the exception.
It’s not going well is it! I blame the idiot that started the thread.
Hopefully by tomorrow it’ll have calmed down , eternal optimist??? and we can have a reasoned debate.
truly goes to show when this board started the idea or decision to have no politics or religion was an excellent one.

So you don’t disapprove of her hypocrisy and do as I say not as I do ways? Right wing hypocrisy bad, left wing hypocrisy better?
No one is criticising her because she is diabetic, just her pathetic use of the fact to try and excuse her stupidity when millions deal with it every day.

I can’t recall any details of reforming the Monarchy in the Labour Manifesto. Some interesting stuff in the Tory one though, page 48.
