There is no shoot to kill policy to be against. The BBC Trust upheld a complaint that that the words were used out of context when he answered a question yet they subsequently edited a separate question to his answer.

He spoke to both sides in Ireland & was instrumental in the peace process.

His "friends" comment regarding Hamas was taken out of context when he used the phrase when referring to all parties when organising parties to discuss a cease fire & peace.

As the three attackers at the weekend had 50 rounds pumped into them, I'm pretty sure they were shooting to kill.

The less said about the others the better, he's appeared at (and been arrested at) a pro-IRA rally and has spoken at a rally alongside Muslim hate preachers. I don't give a **** personally, but I don't think anyone should be rewriting history.

And arrested at a free Nelson Mandela rally.

Not sure if its just Hull but my ex-wife was from Stoke and they called them Foreigners (god knows why).

To meander further off topic is it only Hull that calls 2 up on a bike a croggy? It seems to be a backie everywhere else.

A 'croggy' is when the passenger is on the crossbar. If the passenger is on the saddle, it's a seater. ****ed if I know the name for it when the passenger is sat on the handlebars, which seems to be more popular these days.

They won't bloody vote in sufficient quantities. Apathetic sods.
My 25 year old daughter has just told me she won't be voting.

Reason being she thinks they're all a bunch of liars and she doesn't trust any of them.

She's a nurse.

They don't need to, they're basically proposing to carry on doing what they're doing already.

Like doubling the debt, selling off the NHS, killing pensioners, disabled & ill people, selling arms to countries with poor human rights & links to the terrorists running riot in the streets, starving the education system of funds, creating a two tier educational system, charging pensioners for having a spare bedroom but providing no alternatives, scrapping housing benefit for young people, pressing on with changing Junior Doctor's contracts, upping tuition fees, cuts to legal aid, changing rape laws to make the victim prove they've been raped, classing £450k homes as affordable, scrapping the Himan Rightd Act, scrapping employment rights, getting rid of Bursaries for nurses, bringing back fox hunting, spying on texts, emails etc, fighting the Unions, cutting subsidies to green initiatives, not taking in adequate numbers of child refugees, scrapping child poverty targets, imposing charges for court cases like employment tribunals, making sure there's no responsibility to landlords to make homes fit for human use, cutting security services, putting the country at risk, cutting fireman, police & other services, cutting social care, freezing the pay of the public sector, reducing mental health services & bed numbers, hiking Council Tenant rents?

Wrong, they've backtracked on winter fuel allowances, social care costs, cutting net migration, tax increases for self-employed people, raising VAT etc. etc. because they don't know how to pay for it or admit they're going to make people poorer.

All they've got is soundbites and backtracking and what's sad is that middle-aged baby boomers in East Yorkshire would still vote Tory even if she promised to reenact William the Conqueror's Harrying of the North just because Corbyn wouldn't nuke Tehran. They're either thick or just selfish bastards and I don't what's worse.

If young people can't be bothered to vote in this one then it's over. This is the most significant election I've known as there is finally a clear choice, but changing things relies on the young getting out and doing it.

I am today saying that I have faith in them, so I hope they don't let me down. I am 33 now so will try to desperately shoehorn myself into that category.

If the youth turn up, things change. Simple as that.

Get out and vote young people! Don't let your elders continue to dictate a shady future they won't have to deal with as long as you.

Yes.

A fantastic set of policies if you ask me.

That doesn't mean there's a shoot to kill policy. There's no policy on shooting any PM can influence. The policy is shoot to incapacitate. The decision to shoot is made by the individual officers. The must act within the law.

He spoke to both sides & facilitated the peace process, the information is available as are his comments regarding Hamas.
