Have you been living in a cave? It's a well known fact that Theresa May is the strong and stable leader.
May's internet censorship stuff and the 'I'll change human rights' wouldn't seem out of place in North Korea, Turkey or China. Reminds me of a Benjamin Franklin quote that 'those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety'. It's just capitulation and fear in the face of terrorism and an obsession with 'national security' was a core principle of the fascist movement in the 1920s and 1930s against 'fifth columns' and 'external threats'.
People being threatened with a fairer society brings out the worst in them.

I'll apologise for my 24 years of service in the armed forces, and for covering for striking firemen, helping with flooding, foot and mouth outbreaks, mine clearance, humanitarian assistance, counter terrorism, counter drug/human trafficking etc.
It was in response to someone who served in a public institution that receives £58bn a year but didn't see the irony in saying he didn't want to pay for someone else's kids.
Really, just because she says it doesn't mean you have to believe her.
If she's elected she'll be paying the EU divorce bill £50 billion, plus the annual subscription, maybe running into billions, for a free trade deal that looks after her wealthy backers. No wonder she's not made any promises during the election. Tax up, further cuts in services and the new dementia tax all to pay for a sweet Brexit deal for the big corporations.
I see trouble ahead if she wins the election. Interesting times.

Agree with what you say though - Brexit is a poisoned chalice and will **** the Tories up.
Be interesting how they spin it though.
That said, some people believe anything - probably blame it on New Labour or Captain Chaos cutting down the Magic Money Tree along with the IRA and Hamas.
