It is really strange that someone sets out on a journey with a set route planned, only to find that lots of warning signs are saying the road is flooded. Rather than find a better way forward the driver insists that he must stick to the original plan, so gets stuck in the flood. The driver looks an idiot and gets little sympathy from the onlookers. Another driver would have changed his mind and avoided the ruin of his car.

With the Conservatives having such a big lead, Scruff bag, needed to demolish, Boris Johnson, on that stage, last night. I thought they were both very poor.

Johnson kept blustering the same line about Brexit getting done. Corbyn struggled to give a straight answer to anything which started becoming a bit of a joke.

I'd say that was a better night for the Conservatives than Labour.

Pretty much standard for all forms of life, isn't it. We are loud-mouthed, uneducated, racist, anti-democrats.

It's no wonder we are so headstrong and unfaltering when it comes to wanting Brexit done. They've shot themselves in the foot by agreeing to this GE. Now the Conservatives will waltz off with a majority and we'll probably end up leaving with no deal, after all.

Labour's position on Brexit couldn't be clearer ! The option to remain can only be decided by the people, and the option to leave needs a confirmatory vote - Labour's policy on this is the democratic way, which may be difficult in a time of such polarized opinions, but it is the only way to bring this to an end. Labour is not required to state which side they would be on in a second referendum - they will abide by the result, and their manifesto will be achievable in either case. All the opinion polls since the referendum have shown that the British people have changed their minds on Brexit, and it would be profoundly undemocratic to be hidebound by a 3 year old referendum result in those circumstances. Similarly the Lib Dem position of completely ignoring the result would also be undemocratic. Labour's positon of saying to the people 'do you still want this' is the only reasonable position in these circumstances.

Labour have made it clear, even if, scruff bag, wouldn't confirm it, last night. They'll be going to the EU and telling them they're campaigning to remain in the EU but they need something to put towards the leave electorate. Do you think that will get us the best leave deal possible?

It is a Labour remain stitch up which is why the public are deserting the LP in droves. Until the referendum decision is activated the public will not renew its confidence in the UK parliament and political system. The EU has a long history of not accepting any results if they go against the wishes of the eurocrats. The current weak Labour leaders are acting like Brussel's poodles, pathetic.
