Normally if he'd have signed, SSN would have stated he'd have left after signing. This says opposite. He's on his way somewhere.
Bendtner had a very successful period under Bruce whilst on loan at Birmingham City. Don't know if that counts for owt............
He was pretty decent when he had him at Sunderland on loan as well. I think the fact Bruce gave him his break in England could be a difference.

.....very hard for a club to keep a player if he wants away. Gedo already states he wants to come to City, would expect an increased offer within the hour.
He wouldn't have been the answer for your goal scoring woes. It'd be interesting to see if Hull start to panic, knowing that you're desperate for a goalscorer. Wonder if you'll go all out for someone like Rhodes.
