what next for gas?
their next 6 games are argyle h, crewe h, bulls a, crawley h, chelt a, bradford h. the gas simply have to win their next 3 games to avoid a mauling in the other three. what is not helping them is their apalling goal difference. unless things radically improve at the mem, then forrest green, ebsfleet and others beckon. surely the gills game is a wake up call. yes the massive chris gashead has stoked us up over the season, but there is no way i want to see a massive club like the gas drop through the trap doors to oblivion. so wake up gas, wake up buckle. in the meantime those tinpots go on winning, it must be annoying for you, but it is time you put 9 points between you and your fellow strugglers. wake up irene

Rene Howe has got himself red carded against accrington, whether it was a deliberate foul so he could get Christmas off to help him eat pies or that he is allergic to Christmas and didn't want to get Tinselitis is unknown.
the boxing day test for the gas is argyle at home. if the gas lose this game i will have a most unpleasant prediction coming their way on boxing night
excuses? i wasnt at the game. i was just commenting on the radio coverage who confirmed it was never a pen in a million years. looking at the highlights, it seems its very soft indeed. that put them 2 up and thats game set and match as we dont usually come back when were 1 down. no way will we come back from 2 down. we were always going to lose that match vs gillingham anyway. just wish the standard of refereeing was better though.
and it would not have helped being down to 10 men. that can be debilitationg for the rest of the team and 2-0 down. buckle has little chance of lifting the lads
i do hope buckle plays matty h on boxing day to give the gas a sporting chance. even if he has the happy crappies he will still be able to add to the atmosphere of one of the largest gates at the mem. and add to the goodness of that well sprinklered pitch. come on gas dyb dyb do your best.
