Dennis Irwin? It looked more like Adam Lowthorpe to me, ex City, mates with Deano and Schteve, ERCFA man. Could be wrong. They were sat with Deano at the wolves game I think it was

Ha ha you might be right actually, I only got a last second glimpse so I'll go with you on thatDennis Irwin? It looked more like Adam Lowthorpe to me, ex City, mates with Deano and Schteve, ERCFA man. Could be wrong.
It was definitely Dennis Irwin but pleasingly, as Bo has posted, he was there in support of Wolves.Ha ha you might be right actually, I only got a last second glimpse so I'll go with you on that
Do you think a youth set up magically appears?Bruce, in my book, is too happy to rely on the chequebook to solve his problems, rather than coach or develop a team. Fair play to City for attempting to develop a youth set-up, but from what I gather there is little evidence of Bruce placing any real trust in it, or even in the likes of Hayden, even when more senior players are failing. Time for a new approach, as long as means keeping Tony Pennock in there.
OK fair play.Dennis Irwin is a Wolves fan, it was a coincidence

I never said anything was ridiculous. Not as ridiculous as wanting Holloway. I don't particularly want Sherwood but wouldn't resent his appointment.

Its Steve Bruce who's set it all up with the Allams support. Like it or not.
As is Bruce, as is any manager mentioned on this thread. If we were talking about consistent managers they'd be plying their trade in the PL. Even Pulis, a man considered to be the epitome of consistently over the years has managed a Palace in the lower half this year.
I never said anything was ridiculous.
Can you give me a good reason as to why you think me prefering Holloway is ridiculous?
Please get rid of that indulgent signature bollocks that craps up every thread. I don't want to see a picture of some men and a guitar repeatedly. It's sad.
No, but having spoken to some people close to the current youth set-up (and no, I won't name names) there are some that feel that Bruce doesn't have as much faith or interest in it as he could. Now, to be honest, living down south, I don't actually get to see the youth teams in action, and for all I know, there may not be anyone of any worth in there, but I hear nothing but good things about Pennock so I would say he's the one who has set it all up, and he is also the one driving the development of the likes of Max Clark, who has been sat around the club for years without really being pushed, promoted or put out on loan. For interest, and as a bit of an aside, apparently Conor Townsend is already being scouted by higher league clubs.
Monk merely took over from the great squad Laudrup had built - he'd been at the club as a player for 10 years, so was highly respected by the team and it's fans - so even with no experience as a manager he was able to get enough wins to keep them up in his first half-season.
Second season the gloss had worn off and he was sacked by Christmas.
just get laudrup in then, job doneAgree with this 100%. When it came to doing his own thing rather than a continuation, he was found wanting. We dont want a continuation.

Yeah, of course, man, sure. Consider it done.
Oh no, wait, **** off.
