Exactly! Jonas, Jose and Coloccini all had ****e first seasons for us so who knows.
I actually can't believe how young he is, I thought he'd be like 25/26. 22 is a very good age for a pacey winger - still time to teach what to do after he's used his pace. As opposed to Jonas, where all that hope is gone.

Highlight of that for me is Rooney falling over the ball.

One thing I have noticed from all of these videos is that he doesn't cross the ball in the air, much prefers to put it along the ground across the box or work his way into it. Saying that this may just be man utd's style of play as they're not exactly a crossing and heading team. We'll have to wait and see!
Fergie does not sell decent players!! The difference between Obertan and Wes Brown/John o'shea is.... well 7 and 9 years to be precise. Brown and O'Shea have no chance of ever being good. Obertan on the other hand has time to get better. The funny thing about all this is that they've been handed contracts of the same length!
I think the biggest criticism of O'Shea and Brown was that they're past-it and surplus to requirements. You've picked up SAF's old rope at the end of their careers but you're right in that they could offer a lot to any team outside the top 4. Obertan is only 22 and never got a look in thanks to the likes of Nani and Valencia so it's a far more exciting, albeit just as risky, signing.
