Do you give all City's players unfunny nicknames like Matty Fryup and all?
You ask this of the ****** who says he lives in East Hell?

heh no wonder you got rid of your moderator status, no one takes what you say as gospel anymore.
So after we'd sold our top goal scorer from last season, who would we have brought in? Serious question warrants serious answer.

I also put that hindsight is 20/20......... IF you're gonna quote me to make a point, please use THE WHOLE of the quote.

You added that bit afterwards, hence the "Last edited by Jules'PattyNchips'Winfiel; Today at 08:58 PM."
You'll note that that's 4 minutes after my post.
Thanks.
oh did I? I wasnt watching...... I've got better things to do than sit on here all day
no I call him fryup because I hold him in such high regard.
<shakes head and walks away>
we had simmo didnt we?
I KNEW that Barmby wasn't good enough to bring out the best in him, THATS why we had to get rid of him.
I can't justify the comments you have responded to, but don't look at Fryatt's season end as the be-and-end-all. Up to the Xmas braek he was worse than ****e and that is when you make your decisions. Scoring when it counts for **** all is simply that, **** all!
I hold this town and it's ****ed up losers like you in the same regard as I hold fryuup
Simpson is doing the business now, but what happens when he goes off the boil? Same with Aluko?
We all know Fryatt could score goals- the amount varies.
Ive always liked Simpson, so I call him simmo cos it is easier to write than Simpson every time.
I dont think Aluko will end up going off the boil -
form is temporary and class is permanent, Aluko is class...
Fryup?
I rather naively thought that this board was a melting pot of opinions. If I don't agree with the consensus on here, I get lambasted.
I have differing opinions to OLM et al.
Each time I have seen Fryup last season, I was unimpressed. He looked nervous.

What is the injury? We knew he was ****ed in some way, but nobody at the club or any specialist could pinpoint what it was.
So now he trains, irritates it and ****s it right up good 'n' proper.

Steve Bruce confirms set-back with Matty Fryatt and needs an achilles op. Alex Bruce 2-3 weeks out. joe Dudgeon fitness test for sat.
Very disapointed, MF was our key to promotion, we certainly need to be looking for a replacement now.
IMO Simpson isn't good enough, neither is McLean. Yet to have an opinion on the Proschwitz!
They tried treating it the same way as Roseniors over the summer (by injecting) although how the **** an injection helps a ruptured tendon is anyone's guess. I suspect an injection woud have at best been a temporary solution. If they'd have diagnosed it quicker, and done a proper job, he could be on the path to recovery as we speak. Instead he'll probably not figure this season. That is really bad news, I can't believe how badly we are doing for injuries. I suspect we might see another striker come in on loan now too.
Bad luck for the lad and I wish him a speedy recovery, but we must move on quickly. I would have sold him last January (we discussed it on here - got to be a good board when we actually discuss things!!). His final figures stacked up as a 1 in 3 striker, but the raelity was that he under-performed and should have been a 1 in 2; the assists he received were many and mainly quality, and even though he was played in a lone and exposed role he did not do justice to our wonderful tippy-tap football. Some on here have said that Simpson is not the answer, but I can't see that; Simpson has done everything asked of him and there is more to come. Aluko, a man with magic in his feet, is also showing how to attack the net. Then there is Quinn; he has the same radar that pulls him goal-bound! Fryatt is a loss, but let's keep our feet on the ground, he is hardly indispensible - our problem is not attack (how wonderful to say that!), it is defence (who would have thought!), so I hope our owners do not splash the cash on an expensive striker but invest (wages/loan) on a stopping midfielder and bolster our suffering backs - when you play such an attacking formation you must expect your backs to take a hammering and they have! Keep the formation, it works (almost), don't get mathered about a player who has not contributed to this season's splendid attacking football and focus on stopping the leaking defence. McShane can play a role, as he has the experience and ability, but most importantly he has something to prove. A good manager will deprive players games to make them hungry and now is the time for McShane and NickP to earn trhe accolades - both are easily capable and both are now ready; as is the occasion.
Personally, I love watching Matty play, I accept that he takes too many touches and scores less than he could as a consequence, but he's great on the ball and I think we look a better team with him playing. Just my opinion.
well he is doing **** all for us at this minute is he? If we'd have sold him then, he'd have been crocked on someone else's time and then claiming his wages from them for sitting on his arse instead of off of us!
I suppose hindsight is 20/20
Sell our top scorer (even though he's injured now)? nope.. I'd never back that.. Matty I heard gets down on himself, maybe he's not arrogant enough to be a PL striker.. Simpson is just as good IMO.. I thought we should have cut out losses with Mclean though, he's not top end championship material.. Proschwitz needs to step up now, agreed, he's had his settling in period.. Cullen dissapointed me always thought he might be a hit in this division..
