Why do people knock Yannick Sagbo? He scored just as many as Jelavic, Sagbo, Brady and Long and he's a decent finisher. His goal against Southampton was a proper finish.

On the striker front, I'd just loan somebody in from abroad, money needs to be spent on wide players.

One of the best away days in recent years as their cocky fans didn't rate us at all before the match. This was Nigel Pearson's team at their best , standing firm away and then converting their one chance expertly, and in this case right in front of about 4,000 travelling delirious fans as he rolled it into the corner thro the defender's legs.

Good to see the know-nowt turds who had rubbished his quality silenced by SB and by MF's recent displays- he was still our top scorer despite his lack of minutes on the pitch.

Typically classy interception and pass from Chester. He did that loads in the Championship.

With Fryatt I'm sure it's simply that he wanted game time and we couldn't offer him it. I don't blame him one bit and I'm glad Brucey didn't promise him something he can't deliver.
 
Good luck Matty, you've been a brilliant servant to the club! A real professional who just did his job with no drama.
 
Doesn't really reflect well on us as a club when we're in the Premier League/Europe and we actually wanted to keep him and he stills ****s off to a lower league team.

He'd have made plenty of appearances for us next season, he already moved ahead of Sagbo in the pecking order and Aluko is made of glass...
 
Matty was a good signing for us, and did a good job. I would preferred that he stayed, but he wouldn't have got regular football with us. That will be the same with Forest if they get promoted he is not a PL quality striker, but can do a job off the bench.
 
Was never a big fan of Matty till this season but his performances and work rate since the New Year had almost convinced me that he had the quality to challenge for a Prem place. So sorry to see him go but realistically he 's probably still 4th or 5th in the pecking order and expendable as Brucie is setting his sights higher. Good luck in the Championship Matty....just hope you get a regular place but please don't get Dirty Forest promoted.
 
Fantastic player for us, he didn't get his chance in the premier league but we wasn't in a position to give him a chance when battling to stay up we needed proven goalscorer e.g. Long and Jelavic

HOWEVER

He had a fantastic cup run and wish him well at Forest
