Why just for me , I hold no religious views , if you think it'll be easy just by signing a piece of paper that all religion can be eradicated you're dreaming I'm afraid .
Do you believe that even the so called moderate muslims in this country for example would allow without at the very least violent protest if the government tried to bring in the outlawing of religion. A poll carried out in 2008 by YouGov conducted for the Right-wing think tank, the Centre for Social Cohesion, at 12 universities, including Imperial College and Kings College London. found that
- A third of Muslim students in Britain believe killing someone in the name of religion is justified,
- 40 per cent support the introduction of sharia into British law for Muslims
- a third back the notion of a worldwide Islamic caliphate (state) based on sharia law
- Although 53 per cent said that killing in the name of religion was never justified, compared with 94 per cent of non-Muslims, 32 per cent said that it was. Of these, 4 per cent said killing could be justified to "promote or preserve" religion, while 28 per cent said it was acceptable if that religion were under attack.
Why just for you? Well it might just be, because you seem to think that religion cannot be put out of it's misery by world governments? And the link was there for you to realise that religion is going down the tube, it's inevitable...........

You could be right but do you think without a fight ? then we have to consider which one will go first or will it be a combined effort targeting the smaller faiths such as Judaism , they'd be a pushover wouldn't you agree .
Hate to say it but the fastest growing religion in the UK is Islam.

No! There are countries in Europe and South America where the Vatican is very strong, and it will get very, very ugly indeed, but it will happen as religion causes more and more problems globally, of course Islam is the main driver at the minute, but what if there was a world wide Christian backlash? It doesn't bare thinking about, though my view is that Islamic terrorists will regroup and unite and increase the size and number of attacks, Paris is only the start, there is going to be an escalation that will in the end, precipitate the only option open to world Governments, to ban and destroy all religion....

Well, if you've got 25 minutes to spare because you're a saddo like me it's worth watching David Wood dismantle the apologists arguments that we see right across the media - in this case ABC. Apparently he's setting his sights on the BBC soon. Highly educational and oh how I wish we could force all our politicians at gunpoint into a cinema to watch this. They have to learn, because it's obvious to me they know **** all.

As there are now 2nd 3rd generation UK born muslims here I wonder where they consider home is , a very simplistic view ,Phil some want to live here in peace and some want us , in pieces the trick is finding and acting on those that would do us harm
Is Ayew Muslim, Kwame? Most Ghanians are Christian aren't they? No sure. Anyway, deportations won't happen and shouldn't. This problem will only be solved by Muslims, not non-Muslims and we need them to speak out. As indicated in the video, there is no 'moderate' or 'extreme' Islam - it's just Islam. But the so called 'moderates' have to be allowed to reform their faith from within, rejecting the extreme elements of it. Muslim Liberals as they are called are growing in number and openly speak out. Mohammed Ali is one, although unfortunately he is physically unable to lead this fight. It will take a long long time but it will happen. The first hurdle to overcome is the edict that anyone reforming Islam should be put to death. Kind of a big hurdle!
I blog a bit and have discussions on the Internet about this stuff. Without fail, whenever I criticise Islam, not once have I had any sort of acknowledgment from so called 'moderates' that their faith has serious issues. I almost always get "You're ignorant. Try reading the Qur'an. Islam is peaceful..." etc etc. When I respond with excerpts from the Qur'an or Hadith I am always met with "You know nothing. You are racist." Sometimes they quote peaceful suras that have either been abrogated (something they conveniently don't mention) of don't mean exactly what they say. They defend Islam to the hilt. THAT'S the problem.

They are in the minority then. Lebanon is another example where Christians are given a degree of political power alongside Muslims and live apparently peacefully (though Lebanon used to be majority Christian). But it's a worrying trend in recent times where Muslims are in a majority that Christians are mercilessly persecuted. They cannot live in the Syrian UN camps as the Muslim refugees persecute them. Oh the irony.
I know Egypt quite well and Coptic Christians (10% of the population) always lived happily alongside Muslims. In Sharm there's a massive mosque that's only a short distance from an equally large church. But I am aware that attacks on Coptics are increasing. It was particularly bad when President Morsi (Muslim Brotherhood) was in charge. Sadly, Islam often seems to demand tolerance but gives none.

Ayew can stay then, until he moves to pastures green, but I have no tolerance of any religion that puts pressure on non believers or uses violence against others, and if the silent peaceful majority do not speak out against such violent Terror and murder, then for me they are condoning the actions of the extremist and as such I would ship them out, regardless of what generation they are, If they cannot respect the santity of life they can piss off..........
