PS: What Demonic Islam is doing around the planet is nothing short of crimes against humanity, and the UN should grow some balls and bring charges of genocide against the religious leaders of Islam who have never spoken out against such crimes, and how the hell we are putting up with this **** I do not know, but Muslims can count themselves lucky I am not in power, and that they have such a cowardly whimp in Cameron. ........ <ok>

As somebody who has always voted for and supported "left-wing" parties I have to say that the left in this country needs to grow a pair.

People who believe in that book, hold it sacred, and wish to live their life in compliance with Sharia law stand for EVERYTHING the left should be opposing and fighting against.....yet it's always people on the left who are standing up for Islam whenever it is receiving criticism.

Women treated like second/third class citizens.
    Homosexuals punished by death.
A penal code which stipulates the cutting off of limbs etc.
    The trafficking of child brides.
Polygamy (Yeah, that's a good idea. One bloke's wage supporting multiple wives and children. Good economics that.)
The enshrining of one ideology, from one book, as the prism through which millions of people must see the world.
The denial of free speech (Blasphemy punishable by death)....

.....and we all know I could go on and on and on.

FFS the growth of Islam is the most dangerous thing happening in the World today. People on the left should grow a pair and begin to oppose it....we on the left need to be very, very clear that we disagree with these ideas and oppose it with all we've got.
The ****ing opposite seems to be true.

Look at these ****ers getting together to form a cultural boycott on Israel. All left wing arty types, Ken Loach etc.
    Why just Israel?

Are these ****ers FOR the **** taking place in every country where Islam is the dominant religion?
    Shouldn't think so.
Why don't they make a public stand on Saudi Arabia, Turkey etc.
    It's pretty ****ing obvious why.
The Jews have always been an easy target.
I'm ashamed of the left wing cowards myself.

Superb post Terror. I'm right of centre myself as you may have guessed but you're correct. All shades of politicians are the ****ing same when it comes to Islam. Ignorant or dishonest. In particular, as you correctly point out, the Left criticise Israel - the only democratic country in the Middle East. A country that gives democratic rights to Israeli Jews and Israeli Arabs in equal measure. A country that is at the forefront of technology and has won Nobel prizes by the bucketload. A country that is always looking over its shoulder because Islam demands the Jews' destruction. Even my Egyptian friends who are really easy going hate them with a passion.

Yet the Saudis, Iranians and other Muslim theocracies that oppress their own people and impose brutal sharia law get off scot free.

The bottom line is that fascism should be opposed by all sides of politics and Islam is a fascist ideology. Islam and Nazism are two sides of the same coin.

Correct. If you look at the Unite against Fascism website you will always see Britain First and EDL targeted. Others get away scot free....................

Opinion is definitely hardening towards religion especially Islam, and although I believe in a creator, I'm pleased that the focus is now firmly on religion, I'm not ignorant to what it has done to innocent people through the generations and ages, and I cannot wait to see it's destruction, and I will certainly not drop a tear for Islam, who have never respected women kind or the sanctity of life, and who have so much blood on there hands just as much as the Catholic church, surely their crimes cannot go unpunished, It's time surely for the western powers to start acting with some intelligence, rather than the dollar.............<ok>

PS: What I hate is that life is so precious, and yet knowing that our Politicians play games for monetary advantage, seems to me Religion, Politics, and Big Business is nothing more than a despicable racket.

Islam won't disappear, Phil, not with 1.8 billion followers. It's unrealistic. What we can only hope is that the voices of reason and liberalism within the religion will grow so that, like Christianity, it is reformed and becomes harmless to the world. It can happen and I believe it will - but not for a long long time. Non-Muslims can't change anything.

I think it's happenening and it's happening quickly. The days of millions of Muslim people isolated from the media and information in general has gone. Even the majority of Afghan goat-hurders have IPhone 7's and 4G. When the kids in some remote village are more interested in satelite TV than what their elders say there's bound to be friction. It is effectively the end of a way of life that has continued for 100's of generations. Another couple of generations and Islam will be as 'passive' as the other religions, we just have to help stop people blowing up other people before then.

I agree Monty. Westernisation of Muslims, the raising of living standards worldwide. All of this will help imo.

I'm ashamed of our country right now and I never thought I'd say that. One of our closest allies is attacked and we're DEBATING whether to help them or not after specifically being asked for assistance by them. It's disgraceful. I understand why Parliament has to debate it but why oh why is it taking so long? If the attack was in London (that WILL come in the future no doubt) there would be NO debate. We're bombing ISIS in an adjacent region across a non-existent border and I actually disagree with UKIP on this. They, like other politicians have completely missed the point. This isn't like Iraq or Libya where our lack of a long term strategy was disastrous. Rightly or wrongly those campaigns were about regime change. This one is about retaliation and punishment, pure and simple, yet not a single politician in the debate yesterday was prepared to use either word. Is it now politically incorrect to say you want to retaliate or punish an enemy? Pathetic.

The hippie Corbyn, not content with making the Labour Party a complete laughing stock, has now caused a huge schism in the Shadow Cabinet and unless he offers a free vote half of them will resign. Oh, and can someone PLEASE smack that ghastly Diane Abbott across the face? Hard.

These people think it's much better to do **** all whilst the barbarians laugh at our weakness. We can only hope that a vote comes asap in Parliament to put this right.

Churchill is spinning as we speak.

Apparently UKIP are supporting Syrian bombing. Sense prevails.

Does seem Farage has been very quiet over all this, but I suppose if he shouts about it and says I told you he will be labelled a racist.

TLF: He said initially that without a bigger plan that included ground troops, bombing Syria wouldn't achieve anything. I disagreed with that on the basis that this isn't like regime change, it's about retaliation and helping an ally. I heard this morning that UKIP are likely to support the bombing but this article seems to scotch that:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/nigel-farage-says-he-does-not-support-britain-launching-air-strikes-in-syria-on-the-current-terms-a6751076.html

I think Farage is right in the sense that refusing to work with Assad has boxed the West into a corner but I also think he's very very wrong on the bombing. If this was London we wouldn't think twice in hitting the place where the plot was hatched. But this issue will divide opinion and looks as if it's split every political party, especially Labour.

Another mass shooting , San Bernardino in California , 1 to 3 heavily armed shooters , sounds like 3 in some sort of building for disability assistance .
Shooters might have left in an SUV , around 20 people taken by ambulance ....what a ****in world .
Soon as hear more than 1 shooter , terrorists come to mind , although nothing announced

Tbh Roof, my reaction was 'typical Americans' with their bloody gun laws.

However, these shooters have now seemed to disappeared.

At least 14 dead , more wounded.
Millions of cops can't stop this sort of thing , but billions of vigilant citizens can .
This sort of thing can happen anywhere now , that's painfully obvious . Everyone must watch every neighbourhood .If it happens in mine I hope I'm around because I'm ready to kill or be killed , enough .

So we retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate...and one day, someone, somewhere will say "Stop! It's about time we had a little bit of a think about this and do things differently". So everyone talked about it and had an extremely important discussion, but in the end everyone decided that we should retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people and we will retaliate and drop bombs and kill more people and they will retaliate and kill more people.

That's what happens when people use retaliation as an excuse for acts of war. We need more people who can actually attempt to break the viscous cycle.

That has not been confirmed Roof, they do not know if the person that left disgruntled has anything to do with the shooters, but if it does, how the hell does a disagreement end up with mass shooting of a para-military nature? very worrying indeed, about time the Yanks started getting serious on Gun laws……..<ok>
