What makes you think this? I read it as Sunlan wont release him until they get someone else in which is exactly what you would expect from MON. All guesswork mind and none of us really know

yes i cant know for sure, i just feel as though with FC , its as if we're forcing him to come to us... he's clearly shown in the past that we're not exactly where he imagined he'd end up at... i don't like the idea that he'd be coming to us out of desperation... i don't think this has been the case this year with most of our signings who seem to enjoy the club and team.

i just think wouldnt be as complicated if the player gave a hint that he'd be up for the move

Just a thought, does he know all the Man U youngsters - Chessy, Brady, Dudge, Evans and even Cam - or was he already on his way out when they came through at Utd? Might help swing him this way now.

Checking the Man United reserves team photo, just before he came to us, there was a certain James Chester also in attendance - David Gray, Jonny Evans, James Chester, Sam Hewson, Phil Marsh, Jamie Mullan, Floribert Ngalula, Daniel Rose, Craig Cathcart, Sean Evans, Michael Lea, Febian Brandy, Danny Simpson, Chris ***an, Adam Eckersley, Colin Heath, Fraizer Campbell, Tommy Lee, Tom Heaton, Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Phil Picken, Kenny Cooper, Markus Neumayr, Mads Timm, Lee Martin, Kyle Moran.

Ive raised him as an option before. I remember seeing him for Plymuff (I think) just after he left Utd and he looked ace if raw then. He was always going to be a threat in the mould of Wellbeck. Has stalled a bit recently but he's defo got it in him.

Dont recognise many of those names so the CV entry

Former MU junior is not necessarily a gateway to riches.

He's not going to available, he's played every game for Wolves this season.

Well yeah, i didnt mean we'd sign him now. Actually OT a little, how are their finances? Has this been referenced much? They spent a fair whack on the stadium when in my eyes it really didnt need improving. I always liked Molineux. I know Brum are stuffed but The Wulfs dont get much mention in that respect. Perhaps the sale of Fletcher sorted this.

    Jamie Wood.

I know this doesn't neccessarily relate directly to this thread, but surely the other signings we make have an impact on the targets. What I mean is if I was offered a transfer from MU reserves to Barnsley I'd probably say no. If I was offered a Transfer to Hull I'd think about it, if I knew they were brining in Premiership quality talent such as:- Meyler, Brady, Chester, Elmo, Aluko, etc then I'd be much more likely to come here.

So the stronger we get, the easier it is to get even stronger!

Which is why Portsmouth are ****ed as the opposite also applies.

Marginally? He was ****loads better. Brown was decent at that leveland often wrongly labelled lazy in my eyes. Wood was just ****e.

I just remembered Stuart Young, was he Arsenal from memory? God we've had some ****e forwards, they make Mclean look like Ibra.

Stu Young was Arsenal from memory. I used to play against him as a kid. At the time I thought he was a better player than Barmby

I refereed a junior boys cup semi final in which Stuart Young and Nick Barmby were team mates. Stuart Young only looked so good at this level because physically he was so much bigger than most of his opponents.

He was a lot bigger, but from memory Young caused my team more problems than Barmby did

I would agree. He can delay as long as he likes as far as i am concerned. But Steve Bruce wont be waiting on FC and will have other targets. The Becchio rumour wont go away and appears to be gaining pace yet again ?

Is the Becchio rumour even real? It seems that people here know people, or know people who know people. Has anyone really heard it or is it just a twitter, football rumours thing to wind up leeds fans.
