he's worth just over 1mill at most...especially when we could get him on a free in 6 months

He's worth whatever a club are willing to pay for him.

If someone offer Sunderland 750k and we put in a counter offer of 1mil, is he worth 750k or 1mil?

My view is that I don't really like Frazier Campbell, his Father does my head in. As a player he will do the job, that's about all. Would I have him in the club, yes. Will I cheer him, yes. Will I be surprised if he doesn't come, no. I think he is a big headed average championship player.

the problem is he's a Man utd youth, that probably had big big ideas... and it's not exactly gone to plan for him has it...
My only hope is that SB sorts him out like he sorted brady out, who was also a bit big headed.

Didn't Brady leave us as a raw talent with big ideas and come back a different player so it was SAF or his other coaches that did it? Mind you I admire SB for recognising the change, bringing him back and utilising him as efficiently as he has.

Brady has been brilliant coming back, much better than last Season.

Campbell looks to have got worse since going to Sunderland. Nothing some gametime and a couple of goals won't sort out though!

I would like to see him back but not for 7 million. We could get two decent strikers with that money
it will never be 7 million. think he only had 6 months on his contract. duffen and brown would of paid that, but the allams wont. I heard 650k was the figure being considered, but to be fair none of us really know. all I know is if we have 7 million for a striker we would get better than fc. like yourself I would love him back.:D

How ever much i think fraizer campbell will improve the squad i still dont believe he is the right player for what we need. The missing link is a proven 6 yard box finisher which he is not, a lot of his goals were scored last time running on to through balls etc. We need someone who has the instinct to be on the end of all the crosses that are being fired in to the box every week and also hold up the ball when we play away from home. Steve Morrison would be ideal as danny graham will be out of out price range

I wouldn't play a type of ball to a striker and then fit a striker into that. I would get a striker and then give them the type of balls they need. It's easier for a team to adapt the type of balls they play than for a striker to adapt his play or for a team to find a certain type of striker.

Sometimes you may want a type of striker but usually that is in terms of what they do rather than purely the type of balls they need.

Fryatt and Campbell are pretty similar but if we do get promoted we would need four strikers anyway.

I disagree - it's better to buy a striker to suit the system we play at present. 3-5-1-1 or 3-5-2, don't alter a winning formula to suit an ill fitting jigsaw piece!!! Buy the right jigsaw piece first time round.

But if SB has said he wants FC! Which it appears he has, then he will fit our system. That's why he keeps.putting Aluko up front, with Koren behind and not resorting to a big man.

Koren Simpson Aluko and Fryatt are all different types of players. It wouldn't be difficult to play to each of their strengths with the final ball. Using the ball between them and others to get to the final ball stage is what is harder to change.

I think that this about sums up my feeling towards FC. I never had a problem with him going to a bigger club, better money, its just the way him and his dad did it. A lot like Pearson ****ed us over when he went to a "bigger club". Anyway onwards and upwards an all that ****e.
