I didn't start this. Regardless, I said I would leave it so you can stop banging on about it. I ain't sending PMs to a guy who abuses me like that, he should be publicly dealt with so people know that type of **** is not ok on a civil forum.

I use Chuckles, and another RTG lad as a kind of corroboration if I can't find it elsewhere. I'd be leaving myself wide open if I simply posted everything I receive without checking.

So I've paid particular attention to anything they post or mention to me directly.

With the McGeady departure one of them was quite surprised that I knew. He'd been told in the summer, as I had, but was sworn to secrecy as I was. I 'broke cover' when I thought it was about to come out and was at least a week ahead of the media, fanzines, etc.

This isn't a boast, it's just to reassure you that some posters don't just make up loads of shyte and blurt it out on forums ...

.... the amount of flak you get is barely worth the bother of posting at all tbh.

keep posting smug. I've chosen to ignore some posters to get beyond their inane, insecure miserable dribble that is clogging up threads -

Believe me mate, the flak outweighs the 'kudos' by a fair margin.

I'd like nothing more than to stop tbh.

I've never been ITK before and only became so by accident. Once I posted a few things, that were impossible to guess, other people started sending info which turned out to be right. It was then a choice whether to let other people know or keep it to personal friends.

I know the two reasons the takeover stalled and sent them to a respected poster, on here, so there'd be a record.

I could quite easily post them here but it would instantly cut me off from this contact which would be me cutting my nose off to spite my face.

It's a minefield mate.

From Madbob (and therefore probably more garbage)

1st lot they were not Chinese ( they were Indonesian) , 2nd FPP will not buy the club, 3rd Don't say it the Germans are back in town, 4th its UK based initially.

A lad in work said last night that he makes fishing floats, fly's but can't get the materials shipped from china now due to it so probably not.

Keep it coming mate. There are a number of us on here who appreciate whatever info you feel able to post. For myself, it's the only chance to have a heads up on what's going on.

This thread has got weird and, yeah, tedious. But I certainly don't blame Smug or Kittens for that. I don't take what either of them says as the gospel truth, merely as snippets of information based on their stated sources/experience. They've had their disagreements about it but that's fairly normal and could (if it didn't end up getting so wordy) make for an interesting read. I don't understand why both posters can't be respected for the content they provide.

It's the associated shenanigans that I find odd and I find the attitudes displayed towards both of them frankly weird.

I'd like to see both of them carry on providing interesting information (perhaps with a slightly reduced word count in some cases).

I'm running a 50% off word count offer from here on in. Thanks for being one of the few voices of reason on here who has consistently been fair-minded about my input. I realise I can be too verbose at times and try to address everything which isn't always suitable for a forum. Working on that.

When I originally posted about the Fuhrman texts I was ridiculed and told I'd just made up this 'friend' of his who didn't actually exist.

When it transpired that he's a millionaire art dealer, who sells to Fuhrman and follows him on Facebook, I was told that the texts didn't actually exist.

There are a number of people who so desperately want this FPP deal to collapse it makes me wonder if they're 'working for the other side'.

I've had warnings of legal action from people claiming to be from the club which is either underhand, if true, or seriously deranged if not.

There's some weird people on the internet, that's for sure.

I like the word verbose, although I usually get it mixed up with a railway carriage
