I'd finish that easy. Struggle with the salad. <laugh>

There is also a pub in the countryside just past Boro, The Dudley Arms, and they used to do an 80oz steak with all the trimmings. I seem to recall it was quite expensive and you had to give them 24hrs notice allowing them to cook it on a spit.
My mate who now lives in New Zealand who is deaf, 6'6" not fat tho and takes a size 18 shoe ( thats got nowt to do with the story just building a picture of the bloke) managed it on his 3rd attempt.

I’m well mate up the northern lakes for a break. Boiling hot so just swimming in the river mostly, hope you are ok.
Yeah I'm fine mate. Me and my pal have a job starting over your way in a few weeks, it's at Penrith. I'm off today so going to take the dog out for a walk and let her play in the water for a bit.

I knew we had a food thread somewhere. I'm hosting my brothers and a couple of the lads for Super Saturday, this weekend.

I'm making a stew which will include:
Diced beef
Steak mince
Smoky bacon
dumplings
tatties
carrots
celery
leek
onion
garlic
worcestershire sauce
beef stock

I'll post the pics up once cooking is underway.

Yeah. I’m in the sausage, beans and chips camp.
Chinese and Indian now and then.
When we eat in the local I usually try the veggy dish.

What I can’t eat is anything fatty. Makes me want to throw up.

Sounds good. My wife doesn't like dumplings, I sometimes wonder if she's not right in the head.

Sounds ok but I'd drop the Woosta sauce and add a couple of bay leaves, a tablespoon of tomato puree and a pint of good quality beer. Perfect.

Yeah I've got the tomato puree mate but I only add that if I think I need it. I would never mix beer with my food, it's just not something that I would fancy as I rarely drink beer.
