Garry Neville, Ben Shephard, and Chris Kamara!

A perfect trio!

The transfer window should close before the season kicks off, it's too disruptive, Clint Dempsey is refusing to play tomorrow, how selfish, take note prospective buyers.
Doesn't he realise we're trying to predict winners here. :steam:

Also trying to pick dream teams. Inconsiderate arse that he is.

Tottenham will be without Modric and parker and they'll have defoe leading the line.

We have a few big players potentially out too, and Defoe's always done well against us as far as I remember. Good player.

I would absolutely settle for a point tomorrow, leaves us level in comparison with last season.

Toally agree with this LTF. If there is going to be a window, it needs to end before the games start. I know there will be talk of it helps if you have early season injuries - but it would be so much better starting the season with a confirmed squad.

Whatever happened to good old "emergency loans"?

By the way, in answer to the previous question about dream pundits... My sofa would contain Jeff Sterling, Lee Dixon and Mandy Moore (who can defo play the "Lawro"-role... Shirt unbuttoned and sitting provocatively... Only her predictions would be better!).

well whats new? shearers boring, lawros boring (funny to laugh at, not with)! thinking of it, who would your perfect pundit trio be?

If he wasn't still a manager then Holloway would top my list - would be far more amusing. He's so non-BBC.

And if TV channels/contracts weren't an issue then I'd actually go for Gary Neville. I know, I know! But I actually found his technical insight and honest expert opinion really refreshing last season.

Finally, completely off-the-wall choice - Ross Noble. I've no idea what his football knowledge is like, but he makes me laugh and it would go off in all kinds of tangents as he makes some crazy observations. Would spice up MoTD and make it far more entertaining.

There you go, my pundit trio: Holloway + Neville + Noble <ok>

Using the ancient method of guessing I think the table come May will be

Man Utd
Man City
Chelsea
Arsenal
Newcastle
Spurs
Everton
Liverpool
Fulham
Norwich
Reading
West Brom
Southampton
Wigan
Aston Villa
Stoke
QPR
Sunderland
Swansea
West Ham

For me the watch has to be on spurs, arsenal and Liverpool. All three have had big changes which could go either way and two out of three times it goes wrong. I can see us between 3rd and 8th but I think the gap 3rd to 2nd will be bigger.

One of the daily rags which shall remain unnamed had us at 9th, below the mackems. Perfect , write us off again, but you wonder whats going through these peoples heads.
