Tbf the last time I tried this I watched Star Wars, shouldn’t have bothered

I done the 3 hobbit ones last week. Enjoyable.
 
Decent but nowhere near the level of the LOTR trilogy in my opinion.

Ruined it too with the CGI orcs, the make up/ prosthetics in the LOTR ones were class, proper ugly ****s.
Gonna do them probably later on this evening.

Legolas is different Gravy in the hobbit trilogy tho, you see only some of his skills in LOTR, worth it alone for that but yeh LOTR wins

Whilst I enjoyed the Lord of the Rings films and there's no doubt they are well made I did find them overlong and quite tedious at times. Had to stop myself falling asleep in the cinema on a few occasions during them tbh.

They certainly have to be watched on the big screen to appreciate the non boring bits to their full affect tbh.
 
Anybody recommend a series for me to watch tonight?

Always thought the first one was excellent.

It's one of those if was on, could happily leave it on and have seen it plenty times. *should have mentioned on t'other thread.

The other two, less so.

In fact, the third was ****e tbf.

Yeah turned it off after about an hour, not my thing.
