Bit of fun - and passing the time. Saw this on the Arsenal board so I thought I'd do a Liverpool version. I'll say now I'm an avid FIFA player (ps3) and will try to be realistic.

Spearing's a bit low and I reckon Enrique would be 81-82, Lucas probably deserves a 82 as well, but apart from that I agree.
 
They always short change us... I'd be happy if most of the starting team was 80+ to be honest.

If the manager mode player growth is sorted out, we could have a really strong team with those young players improving.

Enrique is talented enough to be over 80, but FIFA do seem to level out player skills in batches. IE. Enrique will go in the late 70's bracket along with Taiwo, Riise etc. and the only ones above 80 will be Abidal, Zanetti, Marcelo and the like.

Carroll- 85 - Just because of his price.

Suarez- 86

I think Flanagan, Robinson and Ayala will be lower than you'v put though.
 
I cant see too much movement from last year. Carroll and Lucas will be higher, not much else. We will still be a 4.5 star team but at least there will be more options from the bench.
 
Can't see Doni being an 80. He's 75 in Fifa 11, and hasn't done anything to suggest he needs to be 5 points higher.

Think Carroll will be around the 80 mark though. He was increased from the low 70s to a 79 in the most recent player update, while Raul also went up a couple of points.

I often adjust player ratings and stats myself if I feel they're particularly inaccurate anyway (like Maicon being a 90 sprint speed to Bale's 85!), so I'm not overly concerned. I just hope we have a few less generic faces in our squad!

P.S: £10 says Baines still isn't rated higher than Evra or A. Cole.

its hard to tell with fifa. sometimes all the points are too high. sometimes too low. It's like when the highest rating used to be 93, now its 89 or whatever.

Probably because he isn't as good as those two... Yeah he's probably third best LB in the prem but over the past 5 years those two have been better than Baines. Baines should go up to be almost equal to those two though.
 
No doubt judas will be higher rated than suarez for some stupid reason. Rooney will yet again be a ridiculously unjustified 88 or something. I would rate suarez 86/87 downing 82 henderson 80 and Adam 82 won't be that good though we are always short changed by ea :(

Over the past 5 years they've both been better, yeah, but Cole in particular is steadily going downhill and should be, at best, around the 80 mark with Baines. Evra maybe a point or two higher.

Firstly I'd just like to say the ratings vary depending on what the highest overall in the game is. in fifa 10 the ratings were generally quite abit higher than fifa 11.

but if its similar to fifa 11 i think liverpools squad will be something along these lines

Suarez 87? henderson 80 and adam 82? your being far to optimisic of them for next season to be honest. downing 82 i understand though.

And no fifa doesnt short change you, last year in fifa 11 if you start a career with liverpool your predicted to finish 4th, liverpool finished 6th for example. stop kidding yourself mate
