Suarez should be 87 if rooney is,as suarez proved against united at anfield last season he can destroy entire defenses at once. And please tell me why Adam Is not worthy of an 82? They rated Carrick it last year for christs sake, he's not worth 75.peace

In real life, United's biggest strength seems to be their team work and resilience. EA can't put this into the game, but have to show United's success somehow - leading to higher than suitable ratings.

Yeh. I don't mind people who play as United, they invariably try to get the ball to Rooney/Berbatov as quickly as possible - easy to pick off the passes then. When someone plays as Barca or another 5 star team I usually pick Madrid, they have a great balance between attack and defence.
I disagree. Being realistic Suarez will be rated 83 or 84. Rooney will always get a high rating because he is a cover star every year.
I also agree about United's work rate, if they good incoporate it into the game and get rid of overalls and instead have a hexagon (PES) style thing to show strengths and weaknesses.

I'm not sure you can do this if it's your Pro player. You have to get achievements for it. That said, I think you can create a player who isn't your pro and make him 99, although you won't be able to apply your game face to him.
Only do the "Be a Pro"
But play exhibitions as much as possible, controlling the team, on world class. Then pass to him every time to score... ._.
99 overall = No lifers.
I played into my 3rd be a pro season and played lots of offline kick-off matches specifically to boost my VP's overall and played lots of line games too, yet I'm only 87 overall. I suspect 12-14 year olds who have nothing better to do with their time will be getting 99 overall.

Pretty disappointing really, since they've used basically old or generic models. Enrique and Downing look decent though, at least. Think Enrique had the 8 way camera treatment at Newcastle.

Not sure exactly, but certain people (probably somehow linked to EA sports) can get hold of it before it's on general release. Jack Wilshere, for example, confirmed on his twitter that he'd been sent the game early.
I don't think he'll be complaining too much, with the full head of hair they keep giving him.
Oh that explains it, although If that is the case, I thought they wouldn't be allowed to post footage of the game before release.
Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere probably got the game early due to being cover stars. An EA sports season ticket allows users to download and play the game 3 days early, even though the release in UK is the 30th, the American release is the 24th, meaning 3 days early for them is the 21st..
Ah, an EA Sports ticket! That's what I was thinking of but couldn't remember the name. That explains it then.
£24.99 for 3 days early + You still have to buy the game after the 3 days because the download is then disabled!
Ridiculous.
