I've also no idea what you mean by supporting the club through merchandise, but I'm not exactly a replica shirt type, I don't think I've bought anything from the club shop since some gloves in the late 70s
I don't really know what I'll think or do, I may even go to home games this season anyway, but I'm not prepared at the moment to purchase a season ticket. Whether I'll go to some depends on the FA decision, and the As reaction to the decision
What I do know is I feel increasingly disenfranchised now, so if the name change happened that feeling would grow. Exactly what that will feel like who knows, all I do know is I'd never go again.

No. You have a moot point of course in protesting by withdrawing your support from home games but I do not understand your motive in doing this. If you read the OP in the "losing our support" thread, that's exactly how I feel. It's not one single thing (although the name change crap is at the heart of things) but there has been very little that my wife and I have enjoyed over the last two seasons for the reasons mentioned in that thread. I'm not going to spend £1100 on season passes when we don't enjoy going and no longer have the anticipation leading up to games. It's been mentioned many times that the only thing Allam understands is money, well I'm not going to give him any more of my hard earned. I normally spend around £100-£150 per season on merchandise, food etc, and I haven't spent anything for the last two seasons, so by the end of next season that's around £1500 the club hasn't got. I'm not the only one not spending money so there is a lot of cash the club is missing. Their reasoning behind the name change is to make money, all it has done so far is cost thousands and thousands of pounds. How the hell is that good business?

Your not an ex-pat supporter, you follow Hull City from far away as i do. No need to tell me how many of your family in Hull still go to watch games and how much you / they buy from the club shop. The bottom line is you follow Hull City on forum's.
As for those who do go to support, every one has a line in the sand and many have posted they have reached theirs. Its now got to be much more than the name change, its also the stealth re-brand, the ticket price increase, the seat moving, calling fans hooligans and irrelevant, the Airco Arena, and all the rest. I think you and a few others are way out of line critisising those who have had enough.
Oh and its not really for you but those who said if your not happy don't go, boycott, and now they have actually done that they are getting slagged off for not being real supporters.

It would be very hard for any FA not to have had involvement with Jack Warner as he was a part of the fabric of football for many years; does that make every organisation and individual, who dealt with him, corrupt?

Can you give me a link to one of the many corrupt things where the FA have been seen and proven to have their noses in the trough, with Warner or anyone else?

I wonder if you are referring to the allegation made by FIFA after being forced to investigate allegations of corruption against Qatar (and finding them innocent)?

Or, perhaps, you know something that might have been corrupt in the Lord Stevens report?

When all of this kicked off I posted that all countries should ensure that their own house is in order, but I am unaware of corruption within our own FA - that does not mean there will not be individual corruption (but I hope not), but corporate corruption I think is very unlikely.

The Jack Warner thing and us has been talked about for years as far as I'm aware. Last bid we put in was shameful in its pandering to him and his demands. I was embarrassed for them. As for the rest do your own digging.

I've done my digging and found nothing whatsoever to show that our FA has had it nose in any trough; I don't think you have either, Charlie1. You might be referring to what this Wiki paragraph relates to:

You have now (or a part of it), so is the subject of that paragraph what you are referring to, or is it something else? It should be quite easy for you to be more precise. There are and have been many very good people in the FA and you really should back up your allegation, Charlie1.
