You two will get in my shed eventually. I like you and Chazz a lot, but there's quite a waiting list though I have told Alan Titsmuch? to go **** himself.
Do you really think I thought you two might piss off? I didn't. But even if you did, there's many more of your like-minded fools out there that would put me off ever going back. I actually realised I'd never watch Hull City again the season before last. After the name-change bollocks I took my pass back. One night I was with a mate in Albert on Anlaby Rd. A workmate of his who I became good friends with was there too. That night he and I had a big bust-up about City. My mate just mentioned there was a free ticket for a game if I wanted it. I said “No thanks, not until the Allams are still there.” It was with a hint of tongue in cheek I said it. But this 'friend of a friend' blew his top. Went ****ing mental at me about how amazing the Allams are, what they've done etc etc. It got to the point where my mate had to step in. And that was that. I've never seen the prick again. And that's through choice. It was then I realised I'd never watch Hull City ever again. The owners are bad enough. The name change pathetic. But me knowing I could again one day be sat amongst “It's his club he can do what he wants / be careful what you wish for / I don't care what we're called as long as we have Premier League football / he saved us” ****ers such as yourselves has put me off for life. Let's be clear. I don't bleed black and amber. Following Hull City has been a lifelong hobby for me. I've always been there, through thick and thin. But I wasn't pre-occupied every minute of the day by the club. So when I decided not to go again, it wasn't a massive shock to the system. I stand by my principles. So yes, it may be extreme but over the past couple of years my views on a section of Hull City fans and indeed Hull people in general made me stop going to City. I've always stood up for us. Us Hull folk and City fans. We get bad press and it was my duty to fight for us. Then I found out there's a good bunch who are lily-livered, kow-towing, glory hunting. ****ing drones. Those who can't see beyond the bowl of goodness the people with the money put out for them every day. Poodles. Can Hull folk be this way? I said to myself. It seems they can. So yes, I am a man of my word. And I won't be going to watch Hull City again. Suits me fine. At least I can look in the mirror and know I think for myself. And kudos to everyone who puts up with the Allams' ****e. And ****e fans too and still goes to watch the Tigers. Top guys them. One more thing I'd just like to say: Hull City fans have been booing fellow Hull City fans. Thanks Allam. And **** off Happy Tiger and Sunbeam Tiger.
Jesus H. Just go then. No need for the attention seeking wailing. Leave the club for the fans who are happy to support it. Let me add one thing to this too: So called CTWD members have been seen and heard shouting at, abusive to and dismissive of anyone who doesn't agree with them. They've also posted racist and offensive crap online and think their views are the only ones that matter. They're wrong of course. Anyhow, now I know you're no longer a fan of the club I support, I'm done with you. Bye.
It's easy to sit at a keyboard scoffing at those who are walking away from the club after decades of support, but it's massively damaging for the club. Those who claim to want to see Hull City progress as a club, can't ignore the factthat 3,000 season ticket holders walked away last season and at least another 3,000 will walk this season. To be growing as club, we need to be expanding our appeal, not shrinking it and to piss everyone off locally, over some pie in the sky nonsense about appealing to Chinese people who barely know we exist is beyond stupid. So scoff all you like, the people who really care about the club are the ones that can actually see the damage that's being done.
......and? So what! Just like you, abuse anyone who doesn't agree with you? Your getting angrier each time you post, ever considered therapy?
I've just scoffed a chicken kebab. Was nice. The type of people claim to leave or have left are also the types that call anyone who hasn't been a fan for over 30 years plastics and only here for the PL. they're exactly the type that do not want the club to expand and grow, they resist any change unless it's on their terms. I'd love one of them to tell me exactly who is going to come in and do a better job than the Allams. There is no one. There never has been. It's easy to sit at a keyboard scoffing at the awesome stuff the Allams have done for us too isn't it? It's easy to criticise without offering anything too. Just agreeing with and appeasing a militant minority is not in the long or short term interest of our club.
Nobody knows if our next owner will be better or worse than the Allams, only time will tell, though the rest of the clubs in the Premier League managed to find a better one than us, so they're obviously out there(I accept that many will think Ashley is worse, though I'd say they were very much on a level).
To be honest, I don't care how long anyone has supported the club really. But if they're pro-name change / pro Allam, they're ****s. There's a whole load of old pro-name change bastards calling Humberside who've been watching City for 50 or so years. They're still arseholes who worship our mad dictator. For ****s sake. I / we do not want our team to be called Hull Tigers. It's that simple. Have you ever met anyone who says "I'm against the name change because I don't want the club to expand and grow."? Everyone wants the club to expand and grow. But NOT at the expense of our name. Jeez. Cowering fool. Fanny actually. Of the 'it could be worse' brigade. We've been offered a 2% pay rise at work. Our first in quite a few years. It's being turned down by the union. People are saying "You should be grateful you're being offered any pay rise at all!!! Snarl", even though the cost of living has shot up far more in recent times. And that's the problem. People being grateful for the morsels they're being fed. Although it's not enough, but we're being led to believe it's all we deserve. Some are free-thinkers and see what's going on. Some don't and are willing to be walked over time and again. It's all a sad indictment of our society really. And not really your fault that you've been brainwashed into accepting every **** thing that happens and that it's all for the better. There is NO evidence 'Hull Tigers' will bring extra revenue. NO sponsors have been revealed or even leaked to the press they would be interested. They DON'T exist! Allam wants 'Hull Tigers' so we're not called 'Hull City', like the council. If you believe otherwise, you're a ****ing idiot. By the way, have you ever thought we might get some owners who keep the name Hull City, and propel the club to the next level? That could happen y'know. Positive thinking, innit.
I can't believe you're that naive. You've travelled as much as me. You must know there's no queue of people just wanting to buy a club, any club, especially one in Hull. If anyone does come in for us it's almost a certainty they won't have your or mine intrests at heart let alone have any affinity at all with the ER or Hull.
Absolutely spot on!!!! I have not renewed my pass for the first time since the Dolan years. I must admit it has been very difficult to get my head around. This week, I found myself wavering, and thought shall I, shall I???? Let's see what is in the paper today, maybe they are looking to mend bridges..... Then loathsome toad junior came out with his gobful of bile and ****e today as usual, and I stepped back from the brink, I will not renew whilst their campaign of idiocy continues. I will still meet up with friends before the game, but stay in the pub at 3PM. Silver clouds and all that.....
I think there are plenty of wealthy people in the world who fancy owning a Premier League football club(we're obviously not going to be sold until we are one again), they're unlikely to have any affinity with Hull, but the current incumbent doesn't seem to give a **** about us anyway.
They sure as **** haven't been knocking the door down the last few years we've been there have they? If anyone has approached the owners you can be certain they'd make TWS owner look like model citizens.
I've spent the last season and half watching City games in the pub with friends. That's me supporting City now. And that's the way I like it. I can see my team, with like-minded people. And know I'm not sat in a stadium in which the owner thinks I'm a hooligan and a section of fans boo me and tut tut at my feelings towards the off-field bollocks. Supporting Hull City in a pub is much more palatable for me these days. I'd never have said that before Mr Allam took over.
