It's easy to sit at a keyboard scoffing at those who are walking away from the club after decades of support, but it's massively damaging for the club.

Those who claim to want to see Hull City progress as a club, can't ignore the factthat 3,000 season ticket holders walked away last season and at least another 3,000 will walk this season.

To be growing as club, we need to be expanding our appeal, not shrinking it and to piss everyone off locally, over some pie in the sky nonsense about appealing to Chinese people who barely know we exist is beyond stupid.

So scoff all you like, the people who really care about the club are the ones that can actually see the damage that's being done.

Add to your list those that scoffed at people leaving over the stand move too. There was plenty of them.

Yet another patriotic post and I would expect no less from you OLM but let us not forget that the name of our Club is Hull City afc and it has NOT been changed.
When or IF it is changed then fans can get on their high horse and start spouting off but using this as an excuse to 'walk' BEFORE it MIGHT happen is showing that they are NOT supporters at all. The fact that the owner has decreed that there will be no decrease in Season Ticket prices is one of concern and has caused many to 'walk' also so the attendance during our first month of next season should show the owner if he has made the right decision or not.
Rest assured, Hull City or Hull Tigers or Assem Academicals will pack the KC to capacity if we manage to field a forward line that can start putting a string of wins together and putting a shed load of goals on the scoreboard. Nobody will give a R@ts @rse. However, if it is to be the 'same-old' 'same-old' next season then we will be in very deep excretion.

So let me get this right. After passionately supporting my club for the last forty years, I stop going to games because I see the current owner ****ting all over me and my fellow supporters. Then some clock making **** from Australia, who supports via some dodgy stream and thinks we should be fielding eleven free scoring strikers ,has just come on here to tell me I'm not a supporter at all?

STREWTH MAYT...

Well thats a load of bollocks. The club name has been changed in every sense other than officially with the FA.

Why should fans hand over £545 before they even know what the team will be called, knowing full well they will not receive any refund if the name does change, and then be treat like **** all season.

To say these people are not supporters at all is quite insulting, I've had a pass since I was 8 and I could never imagine not going to City but next season I won't be if the name changes. Hopefully when it is rejected I will begrudgingly renew my pass but it just doesn't feel the same club anymore, and it won't do until the Allams leave.

And that goes for almost everyone I know that has a pass- very few have renewed.

Do you really think I thought you two might piss off? I didn't.

But even if you did, there's many more of your like-minded fools out there that would put me off ever going back.

I actually realised I'd never watch Hull City again the season before last. After the name-change bollocks I took my pass back. One night I was with a mate in Albert on Anlaby Rd. A workmate of his who I became good friends with was there too. That night he and I had a big bust-up about City.

My mate just mentioned there was a free ticket for a game if I wanted it. I said “No thanks, not until the Allams are still there.” It was with a hint of tongue in cheek I said it. But this 'friend of a friend' blew his top. Went ****ing mental at me about how amazing the Allams are, what they've done etc etc. It got to the point where my mate had to step in. And that was that.

I've never seen the prick again. And that's through choice. It was then I realised I'd never watch Hull City ever again.

The owners are bad enough. The name change pathetic. But me knowing I could again one day be sat amongst “It's his club he can do what he wants / be careful what you wish for / I don't care what we're called as long as we have Premier League football / he saved us” ****ers such as yourselves has put me off for life.

Let's be clear. I don't bleed black and amber. Following Hull City has been a lifelong hobby for me. I've always been there, through thick and thin. But I wasn't pre-occupied every minute of the day by the club. So when I decided not to go again, it wasn't a massive shock to the system. I stand by my principles.

So yes, it may be extreme but over the past couple of years my views on a section of Hull City fans and indeed Hull people in general made me stop going to City. I've always stood up for us. Us Hull folk and City fans. We get bad press and it was my duty to fight for us.

Then I found out there's a good bunch who are lily-livered, kow-towing, glory hunting. ****ing drones. Those who can't see beyond the bowl of goodness the people with the money put out for them every day. Poodles. Can Hull folk be this way? I said to myself.

It seems they can.

So yes, I am a man of my word. And I won't be going to watch Hull City again. Suits me fine. At least I can look in the mirror and know I think for myself.

And kudos to everyone who puts up with the Allams' ****e. And ****e fans too and still goes to watch the Tigers. Top guys them.

One more thing I'd just like to say:

Hull City fans have been booing fellow Hull City fans.

Thanks Allam. And **** off Happy Tiger and Sunbeam Tiger.

A brilliant post.
I have 1 mate in particular that can see no wrong in what Allam does. I just say let us beg to differ cause i value his friendship and will not lose it cause of Toadface.

It's just ****ing depressing isn't it.

Like Trau Morgas, I keep thinking when the Allams do eventually piss off entirely and I can come back, I'll still be sat in a stadium full of these ****s like Happy, Sunbeam, etc. who are genuinely thrilled about this ****ing horrible situation.

Trau summed it up better than I could but he's absolutely spot on.

What a complete load of arse
I haven't renewed, therefore I am not a supporter at all
Ok then
I haven't renewed, and I won't until I have found out the FA decision and what AAs reaction is to it

Well that's fine and I admire you (and others) who have stuck to their guns on this subject but if you aren't renewing then you have withdrawn your support haven't you.
The FA's decision will be against a name change so I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Mr Allam, on the other hand, could have simply changed everything by making logo's, letterheads and whatever with large "HULL" lettering with very small "City" underneath and then a large "TIGERS" - why the hell he didn't do this when he got the initial adverse response I don't know.
He could still have referred to the Club as Hull City and everyone would have been happy.
I'm just glad that the 25,000 'core' supporters still have a Club to support thanks to Mr Allam - not the most popular man on fans Xmas Card List but nevertheless we have to think where we would have been without him.

I will support the club at more away games instead (assuming the name isn't changed)
Can I assume you attend home games, and thus qualify as a supporter?

Sorry but this is ridiculous. You are effectively saying that you only support the club if you are a pass holder. As I will no longer attend home games while the Allams are in charge, I'm apparently no longer a supporter of Hull City?

Well I received a letter yesterday thanking me for renewing and support for Hull City Tigers. Just sent a E mail back saying we are Hull City AFC, and I will be cancelling it if the name change goes through.

Why cancel it, you've already given them the opportunity to further their re-branding?

I was merely pointing out that perhaps pining hopes on an organisation with its nose in the same troughs as the others is a tad naive.

You have now made your allegation, so tell us about this trough and who from our FA has their nose in it? Or are you saying the FA as a whole is corrupt? I am curious why you label these people in this way, as I suspect you have not one single ounce of proof to support it.

No. You have a moot point of course in protesting by withdrawing your support from home games but I do not understand your motive in doing this. Is this to show Mr Allam that you don't like him or his methods and leave the side short of vocal support? In which case surely you are cutting your nose off to spite your face!

As you are well aware I am 12,500 miles away and am unable to attend home games. I am what is called an ex-pat supporter.
What you are saying is that IF the name is changed you will stop attending away games as well as home games. Will you still take an interest in the Club through message boards, merchandise and broadcasting or will you cut yourself off completely?
